Richard Sia My 42" LCD TV die after 8 months of use (I bought it from dell). The screen is blank (black) after turning on the TV, no response (the on-screen display menu doesn't show up) even I press the menu/input button on the side of the TV. The model number is SV420XVT1A, anybody has similar expereince?

If you purchased the TV 8 months ago it is still under warranty. Why not just call in to our technical support line so you can get the TV repaired? Please have the serial number handy and they may also ask that you fax or e-mail a proof of purchase so have that on hand as well.

There is no current follow up for the WSS-1A planned. The sound bar is a mighty piece of audio equipment however so if you haven't taken the time to check one out i strongly suggest it.

Why would we want the sound bar with the sub if it is only going to be 2.1 instead of the WSS-1A which would make us have 5.1 surround soudn.

Carlos E Torres I need Help Anyone Please!! My Vizio 50inch plasma is Not staying on??? It will turn on for 3 to 5 mins then it turns off I have to unplug it to turn it on again.. but won't stay on!! I tried changing outlets and keeping it unplugged but nothing is working... Any Suggestions???

Well if your looking for immediate service you need to call in to 877-MYVIZIO. I can provide answers to basic questions and such but for any company if you need immediate service you need to call the customer service or technical support departments. The facebook medium isnt really equipped to handle advanced technical issues that need immediate response and prolonged troubleshooting.

Bashir E I'm deciding between buying an LG 55LH55 or waiting and buying the Vizio VF552XVT. Not sure if the latter is going to still be available in Nov or is pushed out to Dec. Anyone knows or can compare these two choices, I would appreciate it.

people here in terms of general reliability. It's additional comfort to
have the 2 year Costco warranty, but I'd rather not have to mess with
technical issues. Is Vizio quality in general on par, sub par or above

If you have a cell phone or digital camera try point the remote and the camera and press the power button. If it's working you can see the infrared blinks through the screen on the camera.

Did you try a different hdmi cable? Maybe the one you are using is possibly defective. Hopefully its just a bad cable.
