Kimberly

Kimberly Okay, the 552 is out (I was worried about March timing!) First, the VIA VIP folks are still waiting for their sets? What's up with that? Second, MSRP on the VIZIO site is the sameas the 551, but Sam's and Costco, etc. sell the 551's for less than Vizio. Finally, when will they hit the retailers, will they be full msrp,... and will the 551's come down? I'm goin' nuts trying to figure this out prior to the Superbowl! My wife is (not suprisingly) watching this closely- bang for the buck or not, she wants to get something a little less expensive:)

Brad Hoesman LOL ! Ha Ha ! No wonder you did'nt respond to my question about future Vizio 3D televisions.
You waited to spring them at CES 2010. LOL! I can't wait till August.
Hopefully you will also include SKYPE Video calling software in them too.

This is being caused by improper upscaling from the cable box. You should be able to adjust it out of the picture using the H/V positioning in the TV menu.

Excluding the freebies you save $350 on the 55". $200 for the TV and $150 for shipping. Well that's what shipping was for me :)

Joel Knutzen I love Vizio! Are the internet apps worth the extra cash or should I go to the lower endish ones?

That link also mentions that their new blue ray player will have all the via apps and wireless n built in. So, that begs the question, VIA TV or VIA Blue RAY?

Chris Folmsbee

Chris Folmsbee I got in on the VIA VIP program today. 7-10 Business days. Great deal, probably about the same cost as would be at Sam's club but with free shipping and no tax, plus the free accessories for completing the surveys. I spoke to Vizio and they are really great over there. So far I am extremely impressed with their customer service.

One big difference between the VIP program and Costco is the extended warranty (two years instead of one). Also, in California you have to pay tax, but the price is $1899 instead of $1999.

Steve Looks like the MSRP is going from $350 to $270 on the 19" Razor LED TV. Is this true Vizio?

of course Vizio would make a 3d tv after I've ordered the XVT. TV buying is getting complicated as buying a new cell phone. As soon as you buy one, it's obsolete! I'm already itching for the 47" 3d and my 42" XVT hasn't shipped yet :|
