Bill Quiroz, president of the board for Construction Cares for Children, has informed us that the nonprofit is planning to donate 20 bicycles to kids living in our programs! (Thank you, Bill!) You can help them by volunteering to assemble bikes ...on their Bicycle Assembly Day set for Dec. 12 at Cal Expo. (see link below)

Thank you to the Greater Sacramento community for answering our call! Even in tough economic times, we f...ind generosity is alive and well. Now our focus is set on finding wannabe Santas out there to "adopt" our clients' Christmas wish lists!

A news crew is coming to our Mather Community Campus kitchen to look at our relatively bare cupboards in hopes you good folks will respond with donations of frozen birds at either our Central Kitchen (700 North ...Fifth St.) or at the MCC dining hall (3587 Bleckely, Rancho Cordova). We accept donations 7 a.m.-6 p.m. daily.
