Join us for Bug-a-Palüza 12, an all VW car show, camp out, and swap meet. Over 45 classes and specialty awards will be given away for both air-cooled and water-cooled Volkswagens. Our trophies are the best looking around, featuring a hand crafted solid wood base and a VW connecting rod on top.
On Saturday night, enjoy a... live performance by the Jeremy Lesley Band, at 7:00 PM.

In case of inclement weather on Friday, the cruise will be postponed until the next clear Saturday.

The Scenic City Volks Folks December Meeting and Christmas Party will be Monday evening, December 21st at 7:00 PM. We meet at Wally's in East Ridge on the north-west corner of I-75 and Ringgold Road (I-75 TN Exit 1).
After our business meeting we will exchange gifts in our traditional "Chinese Auction." Each perso...n who wants to participate needs to bring one wrapped gift ($10 Max) . . . the gift can be VW related, but doesn't have to be. We always have a lot of fun! If you haven't participated before, here's how it works:
All the gifts are collected and placed on a table.
Each participant draws a number.
#1 selects a gift from the table, unwraps it and shows it to everyone.
#2 can either select a gift from the table, unwrap it and show it to everyone OR take #1's gift and #1 selects a new gift and unwraps it.
#3 can select a new gift OR take #1's or #2's . . . etc., etc., etc.
Gifts are “dead” when they are take by the third person. The third person to “own” the gift gets to keep it till the end of the game.
After the last person's turn is finished, the final selection goes back to #1. #1 has the choice to keep the gift they are holding OR trade with anyone in the room, including all “dead” gifts.
So, wrap up a gift (or stuff it in a gift bag) and head to Wally's next Monday evening! We'll see you there!
