I went into this film with low expectations, but really wanting to laugh. This movie made me laugh so hard I annoyed the other people in the theatre! I loved the film "Walk the Line"-- and it's required viewing if you really want to enjoy the parody in "Walk Hard."

Did anyone else notice the cameo appearances?-- Joaquin Phoenix and the young actor who played Johnny Cash as a boy.
I smell horse shit!!!

This, when I saw it in theaters and today, is my favorite movie. It may just be a petty parody of Walk the Line, but, at least in my opinion, it was amazing, and I don't think that anyone else than Jake Kasdan and Judd Apatow could have pulled it off. John C. Reily's performance in this movie had to have been one of the best in his career (much better than his part in Talladega Nights in my opinion). As long as he keeps acting in material like this, then John C. Reily's name may soon be more known than Will Ferrel. Keep up the good work!!!
