we were in beijing for three weeks in january. have you ever been to beijing for chinese new year? they shoot off fireworks everywhere. it's crazy. in the middle of the street, on the sidewalk, it doesn't matter. and big ones too. baseball game quality...

we had two days off in melbourne after our tour of australia (which was so fun!). on the last day, we rented a car and drove to the ocean. there was a field full of kangaroos and we decided we had to check it out. colin and andrew ran right into the middle of the herd. it was awesome...
