Ark Avilla What is the word I am looking for? Ironic, calous, inconsiderate? I mean to run a horrific story about a death caused by a drunk driver and state the death statistics from last years holiday then minutes later run a "humorous' report of a "drunk" turkey made with vodka at some restaurant or something where people will ...be able to get drunk by eating if not drinking. Maybe the word was disgusting. Very poor timing at the very least. Especially for the family who has lost one family member and her 14 y/o is in the hospital. Very poor timing, very sad.

It should not matter if an employee smokes on his/her breaks. Should people be fired for coffee breaks? Both nicotine and caffiene are addictive...so dont tell me its different. Smoking while not on a break is different I agree. Dont "punish" or lump all smokers into the same category...we pay more in taxes to smoke (which helps everyone) and no one is shoving a cigarette in your mouth are they?

Loren, I am in no way saying "it is more professional to get on facebook and chat with your old friends all day". I didn't mention anything like that in my post. So far the only person to mention that is you. As for Musicians and their "interments", While it's true that they may not be able to practice their craft in front of a computer screen, ... See Morethey may be able to network with other musicians to obtain additional gigs etc. As far as "Great Employees" are concerned, Great employees use all tools within their grasps to bring profitability to the company. Great employees don't use company time to do anything but company business. Great employees got the the toilet, have a donut or a cigarette on their own time. Only a fool would ignore a customer on company time.
