Note: The print wasn't given to us by Pete, we didn't ask him or anyone else for it, and we certainly aren't in a position where we can commission him to create artwork for us. It was given to us by a donor who wanted to help raise some money for us.

This is what the wall is here for - if people genuinely feel strongly that selling Pete Doherty's art to raise money is inappropriate then please tell us so. Likewise, if you don't think it's such a big problem then please feel free to say so too.

Why can't you ask artists to donate work to War Child?
I'm sure there are plenty of artists/musicians who would be happy to provide a piece of their work for sale for such a great cause, perhaps in an appropriate medium eg. paint, that didn't require the artist to cut themselves. It is the fact that the original work was undertaken in the medium of human blood that is relevant here.
War child is a great charity doing a great job.It saddens me that on this occasion your fundraisers have shown such a gross error of judgment. Stop making excuses on here and get on with making some of your better fundraising decisions.
