Why? I work, pay my mortgage, pay my bills, put some aside for fun ... why should I bail out some college grad with my tax dollars?

I am a college student in Vermont, but WE CANNOT spend more tax dollars. We cannot spend money to make money. It just wont work

This is ridiculous that these teenagers of today have NO RESPECT for others and their property.....To this I say we should adapt the punishment of China 50 Lashes and 1yr. of Community Service....real hard labor service.....Maybe they will learn something..

They need to do this..it's not all about keeping things "pretty".

hopefully wind farm will get built.all these delays are stupid.it will hardly ruin nantucket sound.there are many benefits to
the wind farm,but some people have nothing better than to complain especially the rich people.it will ruin the view etc give me a break.noone complains about the windtrurbines in vermont or the wind turbine at mass maritime academy
wind power has been proven to save people money

maybe i am dating myself, but when i went to school, that is where we got all of our shots. the school nurse and a doctor were there. we got our polio drinks and shots, room by room with a permission note from your parents. what is happeining to our school kids these days? it seems the more book knowledge people get the worse they become.

Ever since I was in school years ago, they took time out for fire drills, to save lives. I would hope that they would classify this as life saving also.

Too bad some people have to buy pets as a status symbol when the pounds are chocked full of abandoned animals that need a good home..

And yet keeping an animal in a cage 24/7 breeder,pet store OR pound is in my opinion deplorable.Anyone who gets the animal out of that environment is doing the animal a great service.

This country has endured plots thruout it's history escalating to national status in the sixties was the black panthers,arian nation,klu klux clan,then came the street gangs rising to prominence mingling in with many outlaw motorcycle gangs,then post 9/11 was the terrorists who continue to hide in plain site taking full advantage of our ... Read Moreunwillingness to racial profile or step on any toes because of the outcry of protest from the citizens who think it's in violation of our constitution and what this country stands for...Time to review this policy a bit and adjust to the threat before it kills us..I am not for a "big brother" society but some concessions and adjustments have to be made.
Sitting on our hands,passing the buck so to speak and finger pointing is only wasting precious time.NOW is the time our politicians should realize (maybe they do and don't want to be the one to take any blame,hence the finger pointing,passing the buck) that they have to restructure and refine some values and if need be,step on some toes and take the initiative to get ahead of this terrifying and growing problem.It's only going to get worse.

Yes, I believe that women should be given the same rights as men on the battle field. No matter what, all men and women in all the branches of military are heoes. Veteran's day should be celebrated everyday as we give thanks to these brave men and women.

Whatever role they want to play on the battlefield. If they can hack it, then by all means do what they love to do.
