I am with the Raritan Valley Habitat in Somerset NJ...What a great group of folks we have, really alot of fun to be with. Hope to get to meet you in Atlanta!

It is a great feeling to come together with hundreds of people like people Cherie and Rick to offer their hearts and a helping hand to help others have the oppurtunity to own a home and learn extras in the process.. I always look foward to having oppurtunitys to help others out. i hope i get the oppertunity i did last year but If i do not get the oprutunity this year in Atlanta, I will continue to show support to Habitat local and beyond.

As always, your excitement is contagious! In Atlanta, I'll be looking for you to continue your tradition from WBB Dallas of being the first volunteer on the first bus EVERY morning!!! :o) Maybe I can be the second!

Yes, Herb and Ray are super excited about being a part of WBB Atlanta. Our Cleveland, TN delegation will also be bringing a fourth member -- a bubbling "first-timer" to the WBB experience -- Jena Baker-Kelly. She's going to be a great addition to the WBB team. We're making some carpooling plans right now. Cleveland is only about two hours north of Hotlanta.... Read More

However, we want to give you a little advice when you're filling out the application - it's best to print out the form, collect your thoughts and then type your responses. If you spend a lot of time thinking this over as you complete your application online, the system can time out. We don't want you to lose your work!

The best is still what Whirlpool does for the world-giving to every new house. I told the story this week at a build in Charlotte to some other volunteers and they were surprised to learn about the appliance donations-it's a little known act that few know about except by word of mouth from the Whirlpool Build volunteers. That's what makes Whirlpool a wonderful company in the USA!

I was just speaking about my experiences last night at Bucknell University. The memories I have from each of the builds is priceless. I would strongly encourage everyone to apply for this life changing project. I would also suggest that you hang out with the Habitat for Humanity folks in your community and start making a difference today!
