Wichita Public Library Visit the Library for all your Thanksgiving needs, be it cookbooks for the feast, audiobooks for a road trip, or DVDs to make the most of your break. All locations close at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday and remain closed Thursday and Friday. Happy Thanksgiving!
Wichita Public Library brings you sock puppets and a dressy family fun time tonight, Dr. William D. Keel on the German heritage of Kansas (with the Wichita Genealogical Society) on Saturday, and Dr. Stuart Levine who puts Poe in Context on Sunday. That's not all either!

Wichita Public Library Western Days will start one day later than planned. Author Max McCoy has cancelled his appearance at Alford this Sunday due to illness. The Free Staters will kick off Western Days in grand style on Monday at 2:30 p.m. though. See a full list of Western Days events at our web site.
