Authors, artists, film industry novices, and area leaders convened at the Red River Revel in Shreveport Oct. 9 with the Secretary of Culture, Recreation, and Tourism Pam Breaux to discuss capitalizing on arts and culture as part of the state’s unique offerings to touris...ts. We coordinated the event for our client, the Louisiana Office of Tourism. The Lt. Governor will bring a similar dialogue to a world stage Oct. 29-30 at the 3rd World Cultural Economic Forum in New Orleans.

The American Detour continues in Baton Rouge for the annual Blues Festival. Bruce Northam introduces many blues musicians, including John Lomax, Bonnie Bramlett, Charlie Musselwhite, and Percy Sledge.
