Republican Party of Wisconsin

Republican Party of Wisconsin This RNC video is from a few months ago, but it seems more timely now than ever as Democrat leaders go behind closed doors to work out a final health care bill. Obama's C-SPAN quote is included in the video.

Proof of more lies out of Washington that will get denied by the Dems. Not that, that was not ever done before by either side.

You would think that even a few Democrat voters might want to know what is in the health care bill. It seems that a one party Democratic state is not consistent with Democracy. What irony, the only way for Democrats to find out what their elected Democratic leadership is doing is to elect Republicans.

It’s up to you to tell them enough is enough! If Feingold and the Democrats are going to force through government-run health care, at least make the process open to public scrutiny.

Republican Party of Wisconsin Due to the fiscal irresponsibility of Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle and legislative Democrats, Wisconsin’s deficit grew by 8.4% last year putting us far ahead of the fiscally-challenged California.

It’s time for a new direction and new leadership!

www.wisgop.org
As Todd Barry of the Wisconsin Taxpayer’s Alliance pointed out recently, Wisconsin state government closed its 2008-09 books with a $2.71 billion deficit in its general fund, not surprisingly one of the worst in the nation.

Republican Party of Wisconsin Federal stimulus dollars will end up hurting states in the end. We need a new governor who will stand up for what's right for Wisconsin - not continue the failed policies of Jim Doyle and the Obama Administration.

online.wsj.com
The Wall Street Journal writes that despite the claim that $200 billion in federal stimulus cash would save the states fiscal calamity, the supposed boon has become a fiscal burden as all that free money has set the states up for an even bigger mess this year and into the future.

Right David. And all they have to do to kill you is say, "
We don't have the money." So if the democrats are in power and you are a returning vet, anti abortion, voting for a third party cannidate, or some other such definition of "terrorist" to put on their "watch list" they can easily deny you coverage and you have no alternative; except to roll over and die. Man If I am going to die, I'm going to go down fighting!

Yes absolutely have you been reading my other post? You must not be because I have been saying this time and time again. Tommy Thompson he would win if he ran if he would absolutely win. If he refuses then we should go to Mark Green he has got the name recognition and experience that's what you need to knock off an incumbent. Look at Tim Michales ... See Morein 2004 a weak nobody inexperienced candidate did he beat Feingold? We had 2 better more recognizable candidates in Darrow and Welch that year but it's beyond me why the Republican primary voters picked Michales when it was so obvious he was by far the weakest of the three we were just throwing the election away to Feingold. No you can't expect a rookie with no recognition or experience to beat and incumbent it jsut dosen't happen. Dave Westlake is another weak inexperienced candidate he is not going to beat Feingold it's just reality if you want to beat Feingold we are going to need a better candidate.

As Gomer would say, Surprise, surprise, surprise!!!

When I first become politically aware, the state of WI had twice as many government employees as IL, with twice as many people, and the biggest growth "industry" for the previous 15 yrs was government. How do you suppose that relates to the situation we find ourselves in now?
