Wittenberg University Athletics Wittenberg men's basketball moved to 2-0 with a dominant 70-45 win over Catholic tonight. They'll play Messiah in the championship game of the Day's Inn Tip-Off Tournament at Gettysburg tomorrow at 4 p.m. David Nowicki led with 5-of-6 shooting from three-point range for 17 points.

HOLLAND, Mich. - With plenty of new names on the roster, the Wittenberg women's basketball team kept a tradition alive by winning their season opener for the fifth consecutive season, this time with a 66-53 win over Robert Morris at the Hope College Tip-Off Tournament Friday night.

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - With a 2008-09 season that did not quite measure up to the traditional success of the Wittenberg men's basketball program behind them, the Tigers used a 91-64 win over UC Clermont Tuesday night to make a statement.

Wittenberg University Athletics The NCAA released its 32-team field for the D3 football tournament today, and Wittenberg drew Mount St. Joseph in the first round, scheduled for noon on Saturday in Springfield. The power-packed bracket could have the Tigers facing old foe Wabash and D3 powerhouse Wisconsin-Whitewater in later rounds, though. See the entire bracket at the NCAA Web site:
