Fritz Dear Woolman,
It is the slow season at this shady budget motel I work at, and I sit and stare at walls. Please send me a topic for a paper to write, or a project! OooOoO, how I long to be a scholar again...

Please tell me, why is college so expensive?

Love,
John "Stitz" Stitzer

I don't think I could pinpoint my favorite. But one that stands out is swimming the Yuba after a long day of sore, blistery hiking. Or playing music with others. Or walking in the woods with Malka.

The Woolman Semester Another great documentary from our students a few semesters ago, about border issues between the US and Mexico.

Join Woolman Semester students on both sides of the US Mexico border fence. Although every year the border wall gets bigger, higher, and more militarized, immigrants desperate for better lives for their families continue to risk the crossing. ...

Mexico and the U.S. have been separate political and cultural entities for a century. The Border wall is not analogous to the Berlin wall, except for the fact they're both WALLS.

Aww... yeah, that is slightly ironic, isn't it? Well... if you really want to see them, ask Coleman. He's got them on his hard drive. Otherwise, you'll have to wait until you get back home! :)

Woolman Semester students search near and… well, near, for healthy, sustainable eating from csa farms to the cows in the back yard. Find out what it means to be a locavore, and why it isn’t always easy to stick to the 100-mile diet.

"Loca" is Spanish for crazy female, and "vore" is latin for "one who eats". I'm not sure I like where this one is headed...
