W&T Seafood We'll be at the New Amsterdam Market again this Sunday. Come out and show your support for local purveyors and distributors. We'll be shucking four different types of oysters from the Northeast and showcasing mussels from PEI, Canada.

What types of oysters do you prefer? The East Coasts are the better sellers. I prefer Kumamotos and Belon oysters. There’s also a unique Totten Inlet Virginica — it’s an East Coast oyster grown on the West Coast. It’s got a mystique to it — I love the flavor. It’s a huge mover here.

New Amsterdam Market  W&T Seafood returns to the New Amsterdam Market with fresh oysters and mussels. Last time, they shucked close to 1,000 oysters. While they're shucking for your consumption, ask them about preparing shellfish as a Thanksgiving side.
