July 3rd: Correct me if I'm wrong---but doesn't Sarah Palin now come off as a "quitter"? I mean, didn't the Alaskans who voted for her think they were electing her for a full term?

I listened to her speech. I used to teach speech in high school. It seemed emotional and unorganized to me. Of course, it has been a week for that -- think S. Carolina. It just seems like there is so much more to this resignation than what is being said -- of course, Alaska's financial situation is not pretty -- that could be part of it.
