Well, I'm definitely looking forward to the birthday party, but given that I've been watching that show as long as I've been alive (I'm 40), I'd love to see some of the more original characters interviewed... Mr. Snuffleupagus, where art thou?

Mr. Snuffleupagus. I watched him finally get revealed as a true character to the adults when I was in high school! There wasn't an announcement or anything, but the day before the adults got to see him, it was a kind of funny episode. I said to myself, "I think tomorrow the adults are really gonna see him". The next day, "Food!". Mr. Snuffleupagus appeared! I cried like a baby...

I also liked that Bert and Ernie lived together. It made me pretty sad to hear they moved those characters out and got them each their own place. Society just couldn't accept two same sex puppets in the same household sharing the same bed. :-/ I really did love seeing those puppets togther in the evening talking in the bed. Ernie was such a grouch- he made me laugh all the time.

you need a new host of that show. the host you have now is obnoxious and annoying and full of herself. maybe get someone that actually knows something about food instead of someone that seems more interested in being on tv.

I think Check Please is a fabulous show. I would definitely like to continue to see some suburban restaurants showcased in order to get a wider audience reach! It's nice to see places like Palatine and Geneva showcased to your viewers! ps--Patrick, instead of pushing negativity why not just channel your energies into something more positive like ... Read Morechanging the channel if you don't like what you see :). Ch. 11 really does great with the crap funds they are given and truly gives people with no cable the kind of viewing you could only otherwise see on the food network with a paid subscription.

i don't believe i said anything negative about channel 11. i've supported them for years and love the programming so not sure where you got that from. i wouldn't care if that show was on abc i would still think she's a terrible host. i love the show and the concept of it just not her. constructive criticism and negativity are two different ... Read Morethings. its obvious to me that she knows very little about food and just wants to promote herself as a television personality. maybe she should be selling snuggies on QVC or interviewing people on the red carpet.
