I grew up there so I always loved the Mountaineers but I find it interesting that so many people from all over the US love them too.....let me know why? Parent connection? Cheap school? Our school is NOT cheap. It is an exceptional value for the money.

Since I grew up 26 miles from there I never even thought of going to any other school. It was the one and only school that I applied to. everything is cheap in Morgantown....my daughter pays for her 2 bedroom apt. at UCONN than we pay for our 4 bedroom house....her rent? $1450 per month. They do split it three ways though so it isn't too bad I guess.

there's a place on WVU's website to search for off-campus housing. rental agencies and individual people can post open rooms/apartments/houses/etc. for rent..http://www.studentlife.wvu.edu/OffCampusHousing/
