I really needed a booster for my Salah, which were just done hastely and after attending this course it has been great so far. I am improving my Salat and may Allah accept my Ibadah. I wanted to ask you about the question on - halaqas before Juma'ah prayers. You said that Prophet strictly forbade such gatherings. I have been trying to search the web for Haith supporting this, can u please forward me the refernce to this hadith. Jazak Allah Khairun

I don't remember saying "strictly" forbade, but it was discouraged and considered Makrooh. The hadith is in sunan Abi Dawood:

فقد أخرج أبو داود في "سننه" عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ـ "نَهَى عَنِ الشِّرَاءِ وَالْبَيْعِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، وَأَنْ تُنْشَدَ فِيهِ ضَالَّةٌ ، وَأَنْ يُنْشَدَ فِيهِ شِعْرٌ ، وَنَهَى عَنِ التَّحَلُّقِ قَبْلَ الصَّلاةِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ"

in the last sentence in the Arabic text above and he forbade people from coming in circles before the salat on Jumu'ah. ... Read More
Scholars understood it to be just before the time of Khutbah starts. So if the halaqa ends enough time before the khutbah begins i.e. 30 minutes or more then I hope its fine insha'Allah.

Ahmed Asalamu Alaikum Sheikh Yaser, Alhamdulilah the Love Notes weekend seminar was simply amazing! Had a small question. During the lectures you utilized numerous examples from individual counseling sessions you had done with people. Do you still do those and if so how does one approach you about those?
