The Mexico YouthForce is looking for young presenters to participate at the Youth Pre-Conference in Mexico City from July 31 to August 2.
The three day pre-conference is part of a comprehensive strategy to foster young delegates’ meaningful participation within AIDS 2008.
The themes for the pre-conference are as follows:
July 31 - Day 1: Understanding HIV/AIDS Science, Prevention, Treatment, & Care
Aug. 1 - Day 2: Policy and Socio-Economic Components of HIV and AIDS
Aug. 2 - Day 3: Advocacy & Building Capacity of Youth at AIDS 2008 and Beyond
If you have some experience as a presenter and would like to share your knowledge at the Pre-conference, you can contact us at aleza@youthaidscoalition.org, or myfpresenters@gmail.com, or go to http://youthaids2008.org/en/action/preco
The deadline is June 2, 2008.

According to the World AIDS Campaign, every day more than 6000 young people between the ages of 15 to 24 get infected with HIV. This makes young people (and disproportionately young women) constitute more than half all new infections worldwide...
YouthForce At the moment YouthForce is working towards AIDS 2008 and is currently known as Mexico YouthForce! There are a lot of great ways you can get involved as a youth at AIDS 2008 so keep checking back for up-dates!
