3D Dot Game Heroes was a game that previous seemed to be copying Zelda’s winning formula, but now judging from its trailer it looks like it will be a flat-out parody of the Zelda series.

"So far, the basic flow of the Zelda games is you’re exploring a field, you go to a dungeon, you conquer it and return to the field. We’re looking at altering that traditional flow."

Eiji Aonuma had an interview with Official Nintendo Magazine saying that there are changes in store for the new Zelda Wii title that might ensue some surprising reactions. The Zelda producer also added that there is hope that something will be shown for next year’s E3.

Nintendo fans are in for more than just new Wii Vitality Sensor software at E3 2010. The Legend of Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma says Nintendo hopes to show something "surprising" about Link's next Wii-bound adventure.

For Legend of Zelda fans, voice acting is a touchy subject. Go to any Zelda forum and suggest that maybe Link could have a voice in the next game, and you will be met with the enraged howls of long-time Zelda fans, who insist that if this was implemented the Zelda series would be “ruined FOREVER!”

The Official Nintendo Magazine answered questions from curious Zelda fans on their website. Most questions have to do with gameplay and there are no spoilers as far as the storyline is concerned (unless you’ve been living under a rock and not seen the trailers ) so don’t be afraid to check it out.
