It's been a week and they are STILL counting votes in my race (I pic…ked up one more) and they still have not declared a winner. How weird is that? Afficher la suite
With 99% reported, my part in the race is over, and I managed to com…e in a distant third in a five candidate race. Given the minimal fundraising and campaign spending, picking up a rather respectable 1.6% of the vote is something of an accomplishment.
I'd like to thank my unofficial campaign manager, my wife Lee, as well as the other Libertarian candidates and volunteers throughout the Libertarian Party of Texas and the Libertarian Parties of Dallas and Tarrant County who kept me motivated when I doubted myself.
For the almost 5,600 people who voted for me, thank you, and please note that I will still be around, and my ideas aren't going anywhere even though I may.
