Right now the total votes show zero! We know that is incorrect so a...fter inquiring, the Election Department at the Cook County Circuit Clerks office let me know today that our results for suburban Cook County will not be available and on their website until the election is certified approximately 2 weeks from now. This is because of the write-in status. Because 1st District is in both Will and Cook Counties and also because Cook is divided into Chicago and South suburbs I may need to check all 3 jurisdictions to get our total. Many of you have asked. Thank you to every one of you for the tremendous support on this first campaign run. Will keep you posted as to what the direction is going forward as soon as I get the Word.
