The Senate’s historic tax reform legislation is the first major overhaul of the tax code since 1986, Senator Chuck Grassley said on Sioux City’s KTIV News 4 this morning. On average, middle-class families will see their tax bill shrink by nearly $1,500. According to one study, the Senate tax reform plan will create more than 10,000 new jobs in Iowa. And the average middle-income Iowa family will see $2,600 more a year in after-tax income.
