Servicemembers from across Q-West had a chance to showcase their hand-to-hand combatives skills during the Q-West Combatives Final Championship. Each contestant had to battle it out with every member in their weight class to see who is the KIng and Queen of the ring.
Today was Day Zero of the Air Assault course being hosted at Folk Pork. This morning, dozens of 3/10 Soldiers demonstrated their preparedness and dedication to their profession by persevering through a challenging obstacle course and a 2-mile run.
Riche$ from Recycling Program is a program that allows units to get credit (money) back from recycling paper and cardboard. The program runs from July to June. The units will then receive a check into their MWR accounts and the money can be used towards unit balls and organizational days.
3/10 needs your help! We highly encourage families and friends of 3/10 to drop off their paper and cardboard at the recycling center. A technician will then ask you to sign a paper on which... you can annotate your Battalion. Your unit will receive $0.08/lb.

Soldier's from across 3rd BDE, 10th MTN DIV worked hand-in-hand with combat advisors from 1st SFAB to ensure all vehicles were ready to initiate training as the 1st SFAB begins JRTC Rotation 18-03. In total, all 47 M-ATVs were fitted with the Army's next-generation friendly-force tracking system, the JBC-P.
Soldiers from the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (LI) got a dose of holiday cheer with the opening of the new USO at Q-West. Soldiers also received care packages from various civic organizations, a USO show featuring comedian Iliza Shlesinger, actor Adam Devine, WWE superstar Alicia Fox, chef Robert Irvine, a host of other celebrities, and last but not least, a huge holiday dinner at our new dining facility. Sgt. Maj. of the Army Daniel Dailey stopped at Camp Qayyarah, Iraq to visit the Patriot Brigade and meet with some of our Soldiers. Sgt. Maj. of the Army Dailey presented select Soldiers with his personal coin and thanked each Soldier for what they do for our Nation on a daily basis.
Soldiers from the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division gathered at Camp Q-West to dedicate the base dining facility to their fallen brother in arms, Spc. Alexander Missildine, who was killed in action on Oct. 1, 2017 in Salah ah Din province, Iraq. The Soldiers toasted him with non-alcoholic beer on what would have been his 21st bithday. Gone but not forgotten.
