Finance Minister Matia Kasaija today opened a Public procurement per...formance review forum organised by PPDA at Protea Hotel in Kampala. Kasaija said despite the progress achieved, the public procurement system continues to face a number of challenges which include poor contract management by entities and delays in the procurement process. " I would like to commend PPDA for its efforts to work with the CSOs which will greatly promote accountability in execution of government contracts," said Kasaija. He noted that Government of Uganda allocates nearly 60% of the budget to public procurement. See More
