The Cadets put in hard graft yesterday, bag packing in Morrison's Hadleigh raising funds for their squadron. Fund raising by the Cadets helps us offer the same opportunities to all Cadets, regardless of background and financial status. We are very proud of their efforts.

Norfolk and Suffolk Wing Air Cadets added 4 new photos.

During the last week in October, 50 cadets and 20 staff from across Norfolk & Suffolk Wing, attended an adventure training camp in Scotland.

The cadets stayed a...t Rothiemurchus Lodge in the heart of the Cairngorm Mountains, designed exclusively to offer accommodation to the armed and cadet forces. During the week-long camp, all cadets and staff participated in a range of activities designed to develop their own teamwork and communication skills, showcasing the adventure training opportunities the Air Training Corps offers.
The adventure training camp has been run as a yearly event for Norfolk & Suffolk Wing.

The camp has always been a popular choice amongst cadets in the Wing due to the variety of activities available for all to enjoy. This year, the camp followed a diverse program including various hill walks on both high and low-level terrain, zip lining, mountain biking, white water rafting as well as sporting activities such as frisbee golf, a historical trip to Fort George and a visit to Inverness.

Cadet Corporal Law of 1109 (Thetford) Squadron said “the week-long adventure training camp was an incredibly enjoyable experience, testing our ability to conquer our fears, especially during the zip lining across many different levels and heights. We enjoyed many hill walks with incredible views across the Scottish terrain and the visit to Fort George was very educational, followed by getting to explore Inverness. For me, the most memorable moment of the camp was white water rafting and experiencing cliff jumps, both being some of the best things I have ever done”.
