The environment is nice and cosy, but the food was a big disappointment. Was recommended by a friend but when the food was served it was way below our expectations. The laksa was not spicy, not sour a...nd it was not salty or sweet. There was no prawn paste. It was just plain tasteless. The kerabu rice was also a big disappointment. The rice was tasteless, the pickles did not taste good and the curry chicken was not spicy and way too salty. Overall it was a big disappointment for us. Would we recommend it to our friends? No way, there
are better eateries in Ipoh.

The fried kuey teow was not so tasty. The "wok heat " insufficient too bring out the taste. Chicken rendang not spicy. Place is comfy

In Chinese culture, the peacock is an emblem of beauty and dignity. In the Ming and Qing dynasties, the seniority of officials could be judged by the number of peacock feathers he wore in his hat. So peacocks in decoration can represent the wish to become an official.
