I have been going there for a long time. Even when it was called the Q club.
I primarily go there to do yoga. I love their instructor Nancy who does the class on Thursdays. Before they remodeled t...he place we used to do yoga in the back workout room. Which was a lot better. It was more sound proof. We had a lot of problems with the stereo equipment for a long time. The instructors had to bring and provide their own music. This lasted for weeks.
After the remodeling they moved the yoga classes to the big workout room. You can here the music and announcements through the two doors, which is distracting.
The last few weeks we had problems with the overhead fans. The fans used to have different settings. For a while they didn't work at all.
I guess many people complained. Now they are constantly on high and can not be turned off at all. That is fine when you do a high intensity workout but not for yoga!.
I complained to one of the managers and was told that the majority of people want the fans on. And maybe in a few weeks time they will fix the problem. That I should check on their face book page.
That to me is unacceptable!
I used to like going there, I have been since the early 90th, but I must say it used to be a lot better!

I love the convenience of getting off work, and stopping by this particular 24hr fitness facility. Normally after check in, i grab a couple of towels they have available for workout and head to the room. 24hr fitness offer the availability of the use of the spin room, for those of us who is either no able to make it to class, or no ready physically. Other gyms don't allow access unless there's a class. They have nice saunas, pool, locker room and etc. Love it See More

Very disappointed how the staff treated a friend of mine when she went in to inquire about a membership. They were far more pushy than any used car salesmen I'd ever met and when she decided to take... some time to think about the offer (which was higher than lifetime's prices-which baffled me) they insulted her directly by telling her "sooner you sign up the sooner you'll burn off all that fat." Since when is belittling a positive sales technique? I worked in sales for nearly 20 years and know that insulting someone is the wrong way to sell anything.

Fortunately the folks at lifetime fitness were far more friendly.

I’ve been a member here for 16 years. The renovation a couple years back brought the place up to modern standards and they have a lot of everything! Well equipped with modern equipment.

I just joined 4 days ago and for now just using the pool as i was a lifeguard for 8 years at ballys fitness center in NY and way back in hs was captain of our swim team...and from the very first day not pleased at all...people in Full work Out gear walking into the pool area and into the sauna.. thAt to say the least is unsanitary, AND gross..not knowing this was allowed as i walked in the pool area i stepped on a piece of glass.. when i asked the staff on hand if that was allowed(people in sneakers in pool area.. he said yea....also the bathroom had 2 toilets clogged up and feces all over the floor..i told the staff member and he said yea thats gross i called for maintenance..
i just left in discuss.. thinking i just wasted my time and money joining this club.... next day same thing and when asked staff his answer was they suggest you wear pool or water shoes...i was in shock at no time during me signing up did they mention that... Like i said its unsanitary
I am really considering speaking to a manager to cancel my membership unfortunately there is none at night time...

They have children running the place. Every time I go I see Nelson and Ryan talking to members like they own the place and trying to flirt with the woman there and I'm just so sick of how the kids that are employed here are. Nothing against 24 Hour Fitness itself. Great place to stay healthy and in shape, but the boys working here are absolutely appalling and I think they should look into hiring more mature and professional employees. Two star rating only because of the employees, otherwise I'd be giving five stars. See More

Sounds corny to say, but I met w/ Larry today & it was a life changing experience. I initially talked to Ryan when I signed up. He helped me with some of my insecurities & got me excited to come back.... I've been excited to change my bad habits b4 but have truly never felt like this! I really feel like I'm going to succeed this time. They truly made me feel like they wanted to help me & that I wasn't just a dollar sign. Can't thank everyone enough! See More

Upstairs fitness area is laid out well, with a good variety of equipment and free weights. The class schedules are well planed out. The staff is friendly, yet professional. The children's area seems ...well staffed and well maintained. The added towel service was an important feature to me since I spend 50% of my time in the water area.

But oh my gosh downstairs in the locker rooms the swimming area.... the decor and fixtures are flat out obsolete and even downright disgusting not only is everything baby pink with baby blue accents, but it is just nasty, corroded fixtures, blackend grout between pink floor tiles, green algae growing around the outer edge of the hot tub. Once in the hot tub the view is of the lobby and/or the dingy old calcified tiles. Plus there needs to be a clock near-by the actual hot tub so you can see how long you've been in the hot tub. Otherwise you have to go down to the end of the spa that's closest to the lobby and twist around to see the big clock in the lobby, or twist around to look at the clock at the end of the lap pool. The water experience is very important to me and it might be important to other club members.

I have been to the grand opening of several 24- Hour Fitness locations, as such I think the whole water experence in the Bedford club would be an embarrassment to the 24 hour franchise.

I like this gym and the staff. But the towel service is terrible. I can't trust that I will have a towel mid morning. As a person who sweats hard this is needed for me and everyone else. If it is... a featured service it should be there no matter how small they have to do loads, during peak hours. Don't offer it as a perk of the membership if you can't provide it. Very frustrated that not one size of towel was available at 9 am. See More

Be careful when you talk to some of the women inside of this gym they will automatically think you want to hit on them when you're only asking if they're using the weights that are on the floor by feet. So be careful because they may be a little rude and want to snap at you . Happened today and I'm looking to be a new member See More

Up til Sunday, it's typically been good. I absolutely love my Spin class with Brandon. My only disappointment was that you cut my class 15 min early yesterday for a training session. Not sure why you ...couldn't make the training 15 min later so we could complete our workout. Just felt that was a little inconsiderate to those of us who got up and came in for a workout. See More

I liked the older locatiom a few miles away . However this new location is Improving.

I have asked them for more basic body building equipment . Hard core style. Old school ....

The reverse leg curl comes to mind. The type where you lay down face first - not sitting upright.

There were 2 good reverse leg curl machines in the old location a few miles away. I don't know if they still have access to the 24 hour fitness equipment they had at the old location. The equipment was older - but it worked just fine.

One of the most important excersices we do is a reverse leg curl. The older machines they had gave us a better leg workout.

I appreciate them considering their customers basic workout needs.

If you get there before 6pm on weekdays you can pretty much get on anything you want without waiting. The equipment is fairly new and in good condition. The staff is constantly walking around putting ...weights back in place. I've been going to this location for a year and haven't had any issues. See More

The night front desk guy never smiles. Never say anything at greeting or leaving. No hello, no have a good workout. It's not good customer service and rude. It's not just once its every time and not... just me but everyone. Other than that the gym is laid out well. See More

great staff, nice atmosphere (after 10pm), lovely women, lacking quite a few machines, but still good place, I d rather pay double and train here than anywhere else in the area

All the trainers are stuck up and look down on you... Now they are being asses by putting locks on the classroom doors. The rooms have always been open. I see them used for dance, boxing, stretching......whatever. Now no one can do that. You're paying for a gym to be open 24 hours. Ridiculous. See More

Jacob Davidson makes working out fun and enjoyable. Able to turn any type of training environment into an engaging and fun hour is one of his strongest suits. He truly cares about the well being and f...itness of his clients, which puts him above the rest when it comes to trainers. See More

Always clean!!!! And not too packed either! 👍 The kids club is nice too. This one actually has tons of toys for the infant area compared to other clubs.
