All the machines and weights and things you'd expect to find at a gym, along with a plethora of wonderful classes taught by top rate instructors! The staff really get to know the members and treat yo...u like family. That "family" feeling extends to the members -- case in point, I left my cel phone on a treadmill and someone found it, turned it in to the desk and 3 people came to tell me that my phone was at the desk! Honest members, helpful and knowledgeable employees, fabulous class offerings, a pool, and kid club for parents.... The only thing holding me back from 5 stars is the cleanliness. The staff really needs to make rounds more frequently to be sure paper towel supply is up to par, help pick up when delinquent members leave items in the basketball court, and keep the bathrooms, towels, and cleaning spray bottles stocked appropriately. The kids club is wonderful- my kids ask to go to the gym! The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Just needs a higher level of "clean-up" done at regular intervals. See More

The gym is okay. But it seems the staff could do more. The towel dispenser are always empty. You have to go the the side just to get some paper towel to clean the equipment on the other side... It als ...o seems like they don't clean the bathrooms after either. See More

The management and staff at this place need some serious training and lots of other stuff. They don't really listen or care for any members and when they do they just shrug it of. I was promised a call from the General Manger Jerome on 9-6-17....and nothing yet. Thanks Jerome for NOTHING !!!!! I've seen a lot of stuff and these people just don't give a crap for anyone or anything. The staff always blame the dirty gym on the "Cleaning Crew" and yet no management or operations manager is following up to make sure the crew is doing whats needed and yet the employees are always on their cell phones and chatting to each other and not really working. When there is nasty smelling bathrooms (BOTH men and women) bloody tampons on floor, sewage smells, and lots of other nasty crap....The true lack of management involvement is transparent....its NADA !!! OH...this is what was told to operations manager last week by 2 female member and who know what was done???

I watched management (a female lady) today 9-12-17 play "PAT-A-CAKE" with a couple of employees at the front desk. No wonder no one there really gives a shit. Its always fun to me when you hear the staff tell you directly that their management sucks and they hate them. I could go on and on with all the nightmares, broken equipment that takes forever to fix, missing 15lb dumbells, etc.

Well 24....What you going to do?

No complaints, yeah things could be a bit cleaner..maybe due to staffing problems ...but I do feel that the ones that are on staff are very friendly and courteous......

The showers should be cleared of men before the female health Inspector comes in to look at the drains!....very unacceptable!

About a month ago I caught I man filming me doing leg workouts. I filed an incident report with management and they didn't do anything about it. A month later, I caught the same man filming me once ag...ain. I filed another incident report with management and explained to them how unsafe I felt at this gym. They found the guy, he denied it, and they will not revoke his membership even though the incident happened two times and I filed reports immediately both times. 24 hour fitness allows perverts in their gym and does not take action against those who sexually violate their members. This gym is unsafe and you can not rely on management for help. See More

Why is it that when I get to the work out room to take the classes, the floor is filthy!! Every time I'm setting my workout station there is hair balls floating around, I have never seen anyone clea...n the floors of that gym, and here I'm waiting for the class to start and someone walks in and sets the mat on the floor.... 3 or 4 hairballs go up floating in the air like dust, except these hairballs are the size of a potatoe, yikes.Instructors are super but the gym itself is dirty really dirty. Safety is another animal they need to pay attention to.

If they put some effort on cleaning the gym and getting it to a decent place to workout before family and friends are invited then It would be a great place to join.

Im only there because my membership is only $49 year

It's unfortunate that this location is so run down and @24hourfitness chooses not to do anything to update this club because the trainers are amazing! Raelyn is fantastic, smart , patient and very in ...tune with her clients-these hard working trainers and the customers who pay for memberships deserve better!! Why should clients in Woodland Hills get anything different then the clients in Thousand Oaks????? See More

It's run down and the equipment is in disrepairand the men's room is nasty. I would definitely drive the next closer 24hr if this one was close to me. The only bright side is the kids club.

It's been getting better this past year, the new cleaning crew is a lot more attentive to their work. The real down side is the dragging of the feet on any repairs, leaks take weeks to fix, machines take up months to repair and now the pool is out for three months. Really annoying if this gym is close to home and work to have to go out of your way. Hoping management funds some contractors that can work a little faster soon. See More

It's alright. I came from a smaller privately owned gym and this pails in comparison. But it's a gym. The cardio stuff is never totally full...the weight room can be a bit busy at certain times. It's ...a decent Gym. It doesnt smell and it's kept clean which is nice See More

I like this gym. I love the instructors: Hilarie, Amanda, Elaine, Alison, Marion. The gym should be better taken care of.

Just perfect when you have 10 trainers not doing anything just hanging out, and not required to have enough child care attendants (only one on Wednesday night at 6pm), so I have to leave and not get m...y workout in and I pay for it monthly. What a joke!!! See More

Been coming here for years but I'm about fed up. Dirty, broken equipment, weights never where they belong. I only continue b/c my great trainer is here. Hope I don't have to find another trainer.

Maybe it would be a real awakening if the Ventura County Dept. of Health walked in some day. This place is a hell hole for filth. There is a drain back up in one of the showers about once a week. This... week one of the floor drains in the dressing area backed up. People were standing in water trying to get to their lockers.. There is no one that is assigned to clean the place during the day. After the morning rush hour the place is so dirty its pathetic; it's a health hazard. Toilets back up on a regular basis. If JD Power decided to rate health clubs they would have to create a new level of ineptitude lower than zero to start with the Thousand Oaks location. And that is just the locker room area. Now I could go on with the safety factor on the gym floor but that is for another time. See More

Been working out at the TO location for many years, friendly folks , the workout equipment had been gradually updated through the years, which makes it nice. Have been to the Carson facility recently,... which Is a fairly new location, the showers & restrooms are wonderful , but the
equipment is not cared for , couldn't find a pin to change the weights. Only ONE in the entire location, very sad. So, TO is a great location , love it!!!!

This gym is probably the worst gym I've ever been dirty, bathrooms Yuck!
You tell them how dirty the place is and they just laugh like it's funny, REALLY!!
The employees would thin...k it's a gym and they would be fit, but not there it's a JOKE and the people suck and don't give a Shit just like the OWNERS because the place is a SHIT HOLE! See More

Great instructors and classes make this 24 Hour work. The place itself could be a lot cleaner and updated. Also, I'd appreciate it if the sub-titles on the televisions would be on the top, instead of ...the bottom, which blocks the scrolling information on the bottom of programming. See More
