The 3% Conference challenges the 9-5 work day model that was created around the concept of the 'Housewife' back in the 1950s. Women are now prominent in the in the workforce and still in charge of the... household duties and we have men who want an active role in their children's' life. Agencies that adapt to this new family shift by offering unique hiring, different hours, working from home part time, will be more successful and respected in the long run. See More

Every woman in the ad industry who cares about her future and the future of women in this male driven market should attend this conference to be a part of the change that's taking place. Inspiring and amazing!

Bittersweet feelings as we post this phenomenal moment ringing the closing bell on Wall Street while keeping NYC terror victims in our thoughts. Thank you to our sponsor Twitter for helping us realize this once-in-a-lifetime dream.

Quick look at the brilliant little booklet that will accompany Bonnie Wan's presentation on our Emerging Creative track ONE WEEK FROM TODAY! Goodby Silverstein & Partners is so lucky to have her.

This made our weekend. A picture of one of the girls that 3% sponsors in Ethiopia through the amazing organization Tangible Hope Foundation. They mentioned that there are 60 other girls awaiting sponsorship. Somehow we suspect that this community just might be the place to change some of these girls' lives.

We love this conversation about sports, masculinity and media between The Representation Project Founder, Jennifer Siebel Newsom + Wade Davis, former NFL Player and now NFL and Google Inclusion Consultant. An excerpt:

"I didn’t know who Gloria Steinem, James Baldwin or bell hooks were. Now I want to follow in their footsteps. To have young people come up to me and say a message I gave or a story I told impacted their life—that is something that I can't train for or lift weights for. It something that happens when you move about world focused on helping others."

He's working to break down barriers.
