Goose Creek High School Gators added 3 new photos. See More
The Goose Creek High School Binary Botz won the South Carolina VEX Robotics Championship on Saturday, March 12, 2016. The tournament, held at River Bluff High S...chool in Lexington, consisted of 51 teams from around the state. The Binary Botz teamed up with West Ashley High School and Palmetto Middle School to capture the championship. The team consisted of Ken Aliento, John Ona, Hunter Tillman, Sergio Bugarin, Mark Quek, Adrian Martell and Coaches Geoffrey Sklar and Sara Smith. The win qualified the Binary Botz for the World VEX Robotics Championship in Louisville, Kentucky on April 20th. The team will also be heading to the National VEX Championship in Council Bluff, Iowa in early April.
The team began building the robot in August and has competed in 4 previous tournaments throughout the state. They look forward to competing against the best robots from around the nation and world. Congratulations Binary Botz you have made Berkeley County proud!!

South All Star Classic in Myrtle Beach on March 4th and 5th.
Christian, a 3 time Region Champion, and 2 time State place
winner, is 30-0 and ranked #1 in the state at 182 pounds. Caleb, ...
also a 3 time Region Champion, 2 time state qualifier and last year's runner up, is 30-0 and ranked #1 at 220 pounds. The Rubins, along with 9 teammates, will compete for Lower State titles on February 19th and 20th at Fort Dorchester. The Top 4 at each weight class advance to the State Championships in Anderson, SC on February 26th and 27th.
