Huge congratulations to this beautiful couple, newlyweds Magdalena and Uwe Paschke on their wedding day! Uwe and Madga met, where else than in the desert, at the Sahara Race 2014 and have since completed many 4 Deserts and RacingThePlanet races together. 4 Deserts alumni were of course part of the celebrations. We will see the happy couple next at RacingThePlanet: Patagonia!

Wataru Iino from Japan came 2nd to Ryan Sandes in RacingThePlanet: Madagascar and then won the 4 Deserts Sahara Race (Namibia) 2016.
He was so fast, even the results can't keep up with him, but here are the results to the 122 mile mark. His support crew included 4 Deserts friends Takashi Okada (aka Spiderman) and Maki Izuchi.
