Just went to this restaurant for the first time. It's a cozy place with nice decors. The food was excellent with good selections. It's very unique; there's no other veggie restaurant in Metro Vanco...uver that serves home-style Taiwanese cuisine (4 Stones might have some overlaps but still not quite the same). Another friend in our party said the food is much improved from when they first opened, so I guess I discovered this place at just the right time. Looking forward to going again to try more dishes. My partner and I stumbled across this place the other week by accident and couldn't be happier since it's only a few blocks from where we live! Though the place isn't fancy or large, the owner makes y...ou feel so welcome and the food is DELICIOUS! She really goes out of her way to ensure the food as clean as possible (so nice to see) and all of the dishes were so tasty. The steamed dumplings were some of the freshest I've ever had! See More

A great Taiwanese vegetarian restaurant on W4th Ave and Stephens St. that I would like to recommend to all my friends - meat lovers or vegans, because the diversified flavours are satisfying to all yo...ur needs! Plus, you are contributing to make the planet a better place by eating some meals animal-products free! It's run by my friend Josie - highly recommend! See More

Food is great and unique, and the server was really nice. Very cozy restaurant and would recommend this place to everyone.

This is Josie from Taiwan. I am the owner of this small vegetarian restaurant on 2708 W 4th Ave (which is only a few doors down from another vegetarian restaurant, called the Naam.)

I am vegetarian myself. My mission is to offer wholesome, delicious, and well-priced vegetarian foods. My vegetarian foods are a fusion of the East and the West.

I have just updated my menu. Please check out the new menu's photos and ingredients on Facebook. Most importantly, feel free to try the new dishes in person.

I'm Hanna Yang. As Josie's friend, I'm helping her promote her restaurant 4th Ave VEGGIE (2708 W4th Ave). I tried to be a vegetarian for environmental reasons, but failed a few times. I like meat and find it challenging at dinners with friends who invite me to meat. Ever since I met Josie, I found a solution! Josie's dishes are full of texture and flavours that are satisfying for meat AND environment/animal lovers! I'm especially impressed by her recipes with mushrooms and tofu. Honestly, I come here 4 times a week for 5 consecutive months and haven't gotten bored! And I feel good to be a most-of-the-time vegetarian, while not sacrificing my cravings for good tastes. For Josie's price, I have to say, THIS IS THE BEST YOU CAN GET!
