Friendly and accommodat
ing staff. Papaya salad tasty but pieces too large. Drinks were good. Lobster roll okay a bit under-seas oned and seemed expensive fo...r the size. Fried chicken disappoint ing the chicken was old or freezer burned even though the coating was fine. Overall not good value for price. Maybe it was an off day but unlikely i will return

Found this place on a google search. Pretty unassuming
from the outside, in fact it looked closed. Inside is modern and clean and fun. Attentive wait staff. Sta...rted with the mango spring roll, did I mention they have a spring roll BAR!!! Fresh and delicious. Next up was the Bau Bau salad. By far one of the best salads I have ever had!!!(pho to included) Then the yellow curry with chicken..g ood. I would order it with tofu or shrimp next time, the chicken was a little overcooked . We read online that the lime coconut flan was good...wow , it was heavenly!! ! A+ 533 Viet Fusion!

Miss the old owners and their familial welcoming presence. We have been going to Phó 533 with our family since they first opened many years ago. We used to dine... there on a weekly basis - sometimes more since it is within walking distance of our home. After several attempts with the new owners, we will not be back unfortunat
ely. The food portions have gotten smaller, more expensive, and the customer service from the mangers was lacking. We no longer care to spend our hard-earne d money on a place where we don't feel welcome with our children and can no longer sit outside to dine.

Although I love it here and just wrote a great post Ian is 100% accurate. Measured poor and the bartender turns his back to u as he makes the drinks. The pours ...r pitiful. Many of my friends have said exactly what Ian stated. Tropicale makes drinks the right away and in front of the guest.
Having spent 30+ years in the restaurant
industry booze is one of the most profitable items in a bar/ restaurant. No need to short pour. You will still make profit in the bar sales.

First time here, and I was pleasantly
surprised at how cool and fun the atmosphere and decor was inside the restaurant ! Outside it looked like it might not even... be open, then you walk into a lively crowd, happy, friendly staff. Thought I'd try the guava mojito to start.. it was very good, very guavish. Then we ordered the lobster popcorn and the spicy wings for appetizers , both served quickly and very pretty. Appetizing , we were all ready for that hot bowl of Pho. I have seen more Pho choices in other Vietnamese restaurant s, but what they had was enough to choose from, each of us (five of us) ordered something different, and yes, everyone was happy 💕

I thought the price of Bun bo hue was ridiculous
!! For one bowel and small portion ($17), it was over priced!! Not only their price, but the food was overwhelmi...ng! The taste was over powering with curry!! I didn't sense I was eating Vietnamese dish, but from India (too much curry!!). Would I recommend that dish, NO!! If anyone who is seeking to try Bun Bo Hue, please don't try at this place, bad image for a well popular Vietnamese dish!
My favorite Vietnamese
dish is Bun Bo Hue, not satisfied at all.

I am going to say I have experience
d better because I have experience d Pho 533 much better. Been coming here since the original owners first opened. Was in here... all the time. Since the new owners came in it has also been pretty good. They have done some good things. But not to last. The food is going from stellar to just ok. Just came from there and my food was somewhat bland and came out lukewarm at best. Service ok but far from warm and friendly. The worst however is the alcohol pours are without a doubt among the most stingy in the entire Coachella Valley while they have raised the prices with some significan ce. So fair warning to the new owners, you are not going the right direction.

My first pho but not my last! Delicious!
Had the tiger shrimp spring roll and ducoc pork vermicelli . Fresh and delicious. Service was impeccable . Phillip guided us through all the choices and insisted we get dessert which is a key lime toasted coconut flan....DO NOT SKIP DESSERT!

I went to Pho 553 intending to get vermicelli
like I normally do at Vietnamese places (it's my safety) but instead I took a chance and got the chicken meatball ...pho. First of all the pho itself was amazing! Delicate yet powerful, fragrant, delicious. Truly they know what they're doing. The chicken meatballs were scrumptiou s. I also had the mango roll to start of which was a delicious fresh and crispy roll, and for a drink I had the Thai basil lemon drop. I wasn't sure if the bubblegum sugar rim but it worked very well with the beverage. A delicious meal altogether . The staff was very courteous and charming. I went by myself which everyone knows can be very awkward but it was an absolute delight!
