I am going to say I have experienced better because I have experienced Pho 533 much better. Been coming here since the original owners first opened. Was in here... all the time. Since the new owners came in it has also been pretty good. They have done some good things. But not to last. The food is going from stellar to just ok. Just came from there and my food was somewhat bland and came out lukewarm at best. Service ok but far from warm and friendly. The worst however is the alcohol pours are without a doubt among the most stingy in the entire Coachella Valley while they have raised the prices with some significance. So fair warning to the new owners, you are not going the right direction. See More

First time here, and I was pleasantly surprised at how cool and fun the atmosphere and decor was inside the restaurant! Outside it looked like it might not even... be open, then you walk into a lively crowd, happy, friendly staff. Thought I'd try the guava mojito to start.. it was very good, very guavish. Then we ordered the lobster popcorn and the spicy wings for appetizers, both served quickly and very pretty. Appetizing, we were all ready for that hot bowl of Pho. I have seen more Pho choices in other Vietnamese restaurants, but what they had was enough to choose from, each of us (five of us) ordered something different, and yes, everyone was happy 💕 See More

Miss the old owners and their familial welcoming presence. We have been going to Phó 533 with our family since they first opened many years ago. We used to dine... there on a weekly basis - sometimes more since it is within walking distance of our home. After several attempts with the new owners, we will not be back unfortunately. The food portions have gotten smaller, more expensive, and the customer service from the mangers was lacking. We no longer care to spend our hard-earned money on a place where we don't feel welcome with our children and can no longer sit outside to dine. See More

Although I love it here and just wrote a great post Ian is 100% accurate. Measured poor and the bartender turns his back to u as he makes the drinks. The pours ...r pitiful. Many of my friends have said exactly what Ian stated. Tropicale makes drinks the right away and in front of the guest.
Having spent 30+ years in the restaurant industry booze is one of the most profitable items in a bar/restaurant. No need to short pour. You will still make profit in the bar sales.

Always amazing. I've eaten here about two dozen times, but just saw the newly renovated space. WOW! Great food, wonderful service, spectacular prices. Try the summer mango rolls, chicken meatball pho and the best pad Thai I've ever had!

I went to Pho 553 intending to get vermicelli like I normally do at Vietnamese places (it's my safety) but instead I took a chance and got the chicken meatball ...pho. First of all the pho itself was amazing! Delicate yet powerful, fragrant, delicious. Truly they know what they're doing. The chicken meatballs were scrumptious. I also had the mango roll to start of which was a delicious fresh and crispy roll, and for a drink I had the Thai basil lemon drop. I wasn't sure if the bubblegum sugar rim but it worked very well with the beverage. A delicious meal altogether. The staff was very courteous and charming. I went by myself which everyone knows can be very awkward but it was an absolute delight! See More

Quality food. An excellent variety of vegan friendly foods. The pho is one of the best we've ever had. The crepe is delicious. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced.

My first pho but not my last! Delicious! Had the tiger shrimp spring roll and ducoc pork vermicelli. Fresh and delicious. Service was impeccable. Phillip guided us through all the choices and insisted we get dessert which is a key lime toasted coconut flan....DO NOT SKIP DESSERT!

I liked it better with the original owners, with the wife being Vietnamese. Making it legit in my opinion. Now some Caucasian guy owns it, and he's tried to make it all hip. It's lost the originality of actual being a Pho restaurant.

The best part about this place is the service and management. They are proud of their restaurant and they feel responsible for your experience. We usually order the Vietnamese sandwich and the pho. Always yummy.

Asked the Latina waitress for a Vietnamese beer (as advertised on their web site) and looked confused and then she recommended the Scrimshaw beer. I told her "t...hat's not Vietnamese", so she disappeared to get help. Didn't see a single Vietnanese staff member anywhere. She finally came back with a Tiger beer, which was flat. Then another flat tiger beer. I have up on the Vietnamese beer and the Scrimshaw beer was flat! (All three beers verified flat by my table mates, it was just me!) I finally settled for a wonderful glass of Viognier which accompanied the terrific vegan PHÔ and vegan appetizer rolls. Great selection of vegan and vegetarian options! Loved the interior and DJ and an otherwise very attentive staff. See More

I really like this restaurant. It's not your traditional Vietnamese diner. It has fresh and creative ingredients and some dishes that you might not expect. I don't live in Palm Springs but I visit a couple of times each year and Pho533 is on our "must visit" bucket list each time.

The food was wonderful. Service was excellent. Sat at the bar prior to our table being ready and the bartender was so welcoming and offered excellent advice on cocktail selection.
