We all love Ms. Erma!!
We received a call yesterday concerning a US Flag in serious need of replacement. I went out there with a new flag, but the old one had become so entangled I couldn't get it loose from the pulley. I reached out to some of our local heros, the La Luz Fire Department, who were able to set up a little bit of "training" for some of their volunteers this morning. (I was even "drafted" to hold one of the guide ropes!) Amazing, what can be accomplished when a Community pulls together to do the right thing. Our sincere Thanks go out to the La Luz Fire Department and all our emergency responders who do so much for all of us! #VFWPostPride
Sorry for the poor quality, it was a quick grab. The Phinal Phlight of the Phantoms from Holloman AFB. I guess WAM (Life Member) and the gang missed their mark a little bit. Was hoping they'd fly over the Post! #VFWPostPride

The ladies from the VFW came to the Aristocrat yesterday & presented my beautiful mom with her 70 year membership pin. She was so excited & thrilled by this. The VFW has been her whole life. Thank so much ladies for making this a great event for her. So many of you turned out which was great, including the State President. She was thrilled. My mom Erma Tenopir is 95, almost 96 this May 8th & hardly a wrinkle. She misses the V & dancing. Thank you so much again & God bless you all. See More

I have seen they play Bingo on my last few visits out here and have wanted to play. I am very glad that I did do it this time. My son went with me for his 1st time to play and he enjoyed himself. The ...price of the packages to play was very reasonable. The staff was nice and friendly. We will definitely be going back to play again. See More

As always, it was a pleasure to welcome Tim Borland and members from all around New Mexico as well as several states to our Post. This time it was a solemn occasion saying good bye to much loved, Dave Wimmer. After the service, we enjoyed great food and spent time with great friends. See More

I visited the VFW today. It is a very accepting place. The people I talked to were great people.

Since several inquiries have been made, here are the times and costs for Bingo. Come on down and support YOUR Veterans of Foreign Wars!
