Second release note for this Winter Solstice. Something darker and d...reamy. Heads-up on further preternatural emanations. Oupire is a sonic collaboration between Dafydd Roberts & Johann Wlight, inspired by book artist Graeme Hobbs's re-working of Sheridan Le Fanu's 1872 vampire novella 'Carmilla'; weaving skeins of extended spectral folk decay. These preternatural emanations realised first at last Winter Solstice 2018 sessions and recorded in the dank shallows of Ceredigion pre-empt Wlight/Roberts' Coil-esque Llanerch The Trees. Oupire is to be released in a micro edition early 2021. Follow LVOF via Bandcamp to get this and other releases & avoid disappointment. Intermittently I had in mind, at least to start off the journey, Charlemagne Palestine's sublime Four Manifestations on Six Elements... See More
