Food was decent. I ordered the ‘Up & At Em’ burger; but, even though said how I wanted the egg cooked, it was over cooked. The burger itself was done perfectly. The service was the real downside, it w...as slow (20-30mins from the time the order was placed to the time my food arrived) and my drink ran out. I had to wait 20mins for a refill. I even put my cup at the end of the table so that it would get noticed, still didn’t help. See More

The staff and manager were wonderful and accommodating when we showed up with a big party and needed a table. They were able to find seating for us and were great in keeping everyone happy. Plus the b...urgers were delicious! This is my favorite place to get burgers with friends. If you want variety, good drink selection and prompt service -- this is the place to dine. See More

We was looking for a good burger joint yesterday so we were on google and ended up at 80/20 Burger Bar (said it was a top 20 burger spot in VA). Atmosphere was dope. Nice staff, very friendly. Chili c...heese fries was bomb. But then it got disappointing . I got my burger medium-well. She too. But I got mine and it was bloody . The bottom bun was soaking up the blood like a sham wow. . I tell them and the nice waitress offers to fix the messed up burger. But. I didnt expect what was next. Instead of them accommodating me by making a new burger, they scraped my toppings off the old burgerand slapped it on the grill . I'm talking bout the burger was mad dry, tasted like cement with an egg on top. That ruined my whole experience. I want to give them another try but I'm scared and y'all know that first impression is everything. 2 out of five stars. Loved the server, So 2.5 stars See More

Worst restaurant experience I've ever had in my life. They wouldn't accept reservations for a party of 7, a week in advance, for my parents 40th wedding anniversary. They told us to show up when they... opened, which we did. They made us wait 3 hours with an infant and a toddler, never actually seated us and we finally gave up and spent my parents anniversary at the 5 Guy's down the street. They were rude, snooty and unapologetic. 0 stars, I can't say enough bad things about my experience with these condescending hipsters. See More

I asked the waitress was there actual hunks of dumplings in the chicken and dumplings soup. She smiled and said yes. Came to the table with a bowl of pureed chicken and the dumplings! It was put in a ...blender.And my daughter's "That Guy" Burger didn't even taste like meat, and was bone dry. No thanks to ever returning there. See More

$65 meal that wasn't worth it! If you want an awesome burger in downtown Norfolk, go hit up Jack Brown's! Half the price and tripple the taste! I would NEVER return here ever. It's like they put fan...cy names on items just so they can jack the price up for sucky food. Literally, the only decent thing is the beer, and that's even expensive. It was well over 20 minutes before we even placed our app order. Then another 15 before the burgers were ordered. We got the fried pickles and potato skins for an appetizer. When it came out, 4 lousy strips of bland potatoes with some cheese and bacon on them... wow. The pickles were SOOO salty that we couldn't even eat them. Our drinks went empty a couple of times and the food took a while. The burgers and fries were mediocre at best. See More

Ordered a burger and it was completely raw. I mean blue. Asked for it to be remade and they took it back into the kitchen and microwaved it. ZERO INTEGRITY. Terrible service. Not to mention the fact t...hat the waitress cringed when she saw how undercooked it was but then tried to tell me “it’s meant to come not cooked to temp”. And when I called out the fact that it was the same burger microwaved, she told me it was brand new. I will never go back. See More

Everything is fresh and homemade! I had the Bill Berr burger. It's was a philly cheesesteak burger with peppers, grilled onions, and mushrooms with whiz cheese. It was delicious! Good sized burger tha...t was juicy and cooked to perfection. My old bay fries were nice and crispy as well. See More

Went in the first time for burgers, waited nearly an hour for food and the burger was good, not amazing. The second time went in for their brunch event and AGAIN waited for an hour, even though people... that came in way after us had their food. We had to call management over and then said "I'm sorry but it happens". We paid for our drinks and walked out. Never again coming back. See More

Mozzarella sticks, chili, and pickle chips were great. Burger was ok. Ordered the burger with brisket on it (forget the name of it from the menu). Not brisket, rather a fatty few pieces of roast be...ef. Great atmosphere. I'll be back, but I'm definitely getting a different burger. See More

Waited almost an hour after seating to even meet a waitress. Place was nearly empty, I have never been here before and I came for the band, RiO, my favorite local band. Tried flagging a waitress down ...at least 3 times and even turned to stare at a waitress having a 15 minute conversation with a couple. That waitress made eye contact with me a few times and several times I waved my drink menu to get her attention and was summarily ignored.

Finally ordered my drink from another waitress that seemed surprised we weren't helped yet. Waited a awhile longer for a food menu. Ordered my burger, The Alamo... bacon was floppy, burger was ok if a bit dry, house made bbq sauce was unexpectedly cold, fries were better then expected (I got the house seasoning).
Drink had a fruit fly frozen in the ice, waitress asked if I wanted a replacement and I just instead asked for a water.

Very slow delivery of our food. Server was nearly non existent. Food was fair at best. Fries that I had to wait for, after getting my burger, were cold on arrival. Again, no server. I finally had... to go and seek out a guy to track her down and help get our bill to leave. He was great, she (the server) was terrible. This used to be a great place to eat. I would come back for the bar but definitely not for the food. See More

We met some friends for appetizers. My daughter ordered a burger and a sangria. After taking a sip she did not like the sangria. She asked to have the drink exchanged and was informed by the waitress ...that they have had an issue with drinks being sent back and they have made a policy not to do so. The $9 drink just sat on the table. Maybe they should figure out the reason why people are sending drinks back instead of making a policy. See More

I LOVE 80/20. One of the best places in town. The staff treats you like family. Food is awesome and one of the best beer selections in the area.

Took my wife to 80/20 yesterday. Didn't realize they were only serving brunch and almost left the restaurant. My wife ordered the patty melt and I begrudgingly ordered what I think was called "Team Am...erica". It was Korean Chicken and Waffles. I was blown away! I was wisely told to get the sauce on the side by the fantastic bartender. Wish I caught his name. Anyway, the chicken breast was thick, juicy and very crispy (my favorite). The sauce was fantastic and I loved the thin waffles too. The side of potatoes was a good helping and delicious! All for $10! What a bargain! Oh yeah, my wife LOVED the patty melt! Nice crispy, grilled bread! Perfectly cooked, juicy burger! Excellent! We'll be back FOR BRUNCH soon!!! See More

I LOVE 80/20 for dinner, never disappoints. However, I wouldn't recommend brunch. Too pricey for not enough food, though the drinks are great! I ordered the blue collar benedict and was happy that the...y accommodated my need for my eggs fried hard (I wanted this mainly for the sausage gravy), but was pretty disappointed that the side was just a small pile of french fries cut up into little bits. I could see maybe having that with the brunch burger, but not with my biscuits and gravy. I need hash browns! See More
