Tonight, Gabi from Innerspace Radio hung out with me on air again, and then when we were off air we did some really spot-on NPR DJ impressions. It's a nasally, high-register, front-of-mouth sound, spoken with a sense of minor urgency without much deviation in tone. Then we did college radio DJ voices (no college radio station specifically - not KXLU 88.9FM Los Angeles for sure). Anyway, this was all off-air, so you're gonna have to take my word for it. Also, did you know "...Sax Rohmer" was the pen-name of Arthur Henry Sarsfield Ward, who came up with the famous (though with today's perspective, pretty racist) detective antagonist Dr. Fu Manchu. So yeah, that's how those two songs are related. PLAYLIST!
