This group and those like it are a necessary in our world. I have undergone so many challenges since my notice of pending death by aids in 5-10 years. Well that didn't happen and now its 26 years late...r after April of 1990. I would like to see us elevate to the next level and have a powerfully funded resources and the ability to come in and swoop up those in need. See More

Thank you for being here " Let's Kick ASS. I know that many of us have often asked , why am I still here? For me I have always felt that having HIV/AIDS for over 30+ years, that I have been given sec...ond chance, a due over if you will. I was actually given the opportunity to deal with my addictions and regain my health. I have found the love of my life and a purpose and that is to make a difference in what ever way I can . We are the fortunate ones . The ones that can and will make a difference. Stay well my friends , our work is not done and we will KICK SOME ASS !!! Its our responsibility. See More

I was amazed to find Let's Kick Ass on Facebook. The article on AIDS Survivor Syndrome is very good. I have been HIV positive since 1982, and was not aware that I share many of the same symptoms that ...other AIDS survivors have. If there is any way that I can volunteer for this organization, please let me know. I currently live in Morro Bay, Ca. Thank you, Robert Jonez rj2@dslextreme.com. See More

In 96 I was expected and ready to checkout. I felt in some way I'd join my friends.
Most who endured.
The Norvir came out, in hospital PCP, CMV cd4-15. Four years I did that med....
Now here in Ma and our sense of community is greatly reduced, isolated.
I am grateful I was able to help ensure my parents got the best. Being Poz so long is a challenge but still have a few good LTS friends.

Look forward to something happening but it won't be DPH who does it.

My brother has lived a long time with HIV/AIDS. He's one of the lucky ones, if you can call out living your friends and loved ones lucky.

I am a long-term survivor, age 56, diagnosed in 1989. I had not heard of this site until a very good friend mentioned it to me & I'm glad he did! It's nice to know that I'm not alone anymore. I can't ...say "Thank You" enough!!! See More
