Merry Christmas to all our supporters and volunteers. Our guests are always so grateful for everything we do for them - in shelter and our casework.
Our Haringey guests are either at Crisis at Christmas now or some have family or friends they have been able to share Christmas with. They return to us on 30th December 2017.
Our Enfield shelter opens on Wednesday 3 January 2018 and we look forward to receiving Enfield guests....
Remember, if you see someone rough sleeping, please make a Streetlink online referral to ensure they are connected with all eligible services for them (remember daytime begging does not automatically mean someone is street homeless).
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all at All People All Places.
Can you all please remember All People All Places in your Christmas and other fundraising appeals please. We are a small charity, with a massive impact on the lives of those most vulnerable. Last year, we worked with 48 people and 35 had a positive accommodation outcome.
Each year, we find people's problems are made more complicated by the systems they are caught up in and many have no entitlement to income at all. We often need to provide travel to avoid hours of walking fo...r many who have ill health and provide documents such as passports and birth certificates before we can do anything to help. We also work with all mainstream agencies to ensure we do not duplicate work.
Casework is vital to help people towards sustainable lifestyles and we appeal to you all for funds for this. You can donate via our website or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can provide bank details to pay us directly. We are also gift aid registered.
Thank you to our many supporters and our church members who help support our work.
If you really want to help a rough sleeper, see this article and make a Streetlink referral online. This is how they access services such as ours.
APAP are delighted to announce that we are one of the named charities of the Mayor of Enfield, Cllr Christine Hamilton. Please support this event.
Live In concert for Enfield Cares
In Aid of the Mayor of Enfield's Charity
Featuring JFK Blues and the Van Susans
Saturday 27th January at 7.30pm
Millfield Theatre, Silver Street, Edmonton, London N18 1PJ
A host of musical talent will join the Mayor of Enfield, Cllr Christine Hamilton, to raise money for the Mayor's charity Enfield Cares.
The line-up features JFK Blues, a stylish rock and blues band with a fresh take on well-crafted rock and blues, with stirring songs and superb musicianship. These are musicians with one aim - to play their style of blues and rock with freedom of expression, not to get hung up on genres but to play music that they like. In doing so their music is contemporary yet has a retro feel which brings familiarity and joy. People have commented that they have a Southern Rock sensibility combined with melodic songs with great hooks.
‘Rough Round The Edges’, the band’s debut album, is made up of totally self-penned material, it has received critical acclaim, having been played on BBC Radio2, Planet Rock and many other stations.
JFK Blues are:
Chris Elliott – Guitar and Lead Vocals
Iago Banet - Lead Guitar
Leslie Fleischman – Bass Guitar
Sol Ezra – Drums, Percussion and Vocals
Tickets £18 – book now at Millfield Theatre box office (020 8807-6680)
Please support this - it helps fund APAP as one of the providers.
Our shelter planning is underway with a start in Haringey on Wednesday 6 December. Referrals open from Monday 20 November to set referral agencies.
We have recently met with Haringey Council who are working really hard to improve the service to people suffering from homelessness.
Referrals will be via the Haringey Council pathway, London Street Rescue (Thamesreach), St. Mungos and Haringey Migrant Resource Centre. Guests must have a Haringey connection and be low needs....
Well done to Haringey Council - We are really looking forward to this season and working together all year round.
Any queries, please contact email@example.com
Our 2017-8 Shelters are in planning now and we look forward to welcoming our new guests for this season. Did you know that APAP works with guests all year round? This means we can help people through to sustainable living.
Haringey runs from Wednesday 6 December 2017 to Monday 5 March 2018.
Enfield runs from Wednesday 3 January to Tuesday 20 March 2018....
All referrals from the Councils in each area and a few other recognised agencies such as CAB, Haringey Migrant Support Centre.
Please email info@allpeopleallplaces if you have any queries.
Our Enfield and Haringey shelters are now complete and we give thanks to our churches who host the nights. Love, compassion, warmth in a loving and safe space.
We continue to work with guests for two afternoons per week to help with tenancies and in some instance find accommodation or provide food for those destitute.
Our statistics are produced in May where we provide details about guests, their outcomes and the amazing volunteer contribution....
Wishing all guests, volunteers and supporters a very happy Easter.
An article about St. Alphege, one of our Enfield churches providing love and hospitality for guests. Local schools often help with funds for each church as well as for our charity.
Happy New Year to all our supporters and followers. This year, Enfield circuit has now started and is going well. Already we can see guests transforming in both Haringey and Enfield. Well done to all churches and their volunteers.
Any queries, just email firstname.lastname@example.org
This year as ever, our churches and their volunteers (who are from the church or the wider community) do a brilliant job giving up their time for our guests. Volunteers often pay for food too as well as cooking it.
We give them all a very big thank you and especially those who give up their holidays, or for tonight their new year's eve for the safety and wellbeing of our guests.
Happy New Year to all our guests, churches, volunteers and all communities and people that help pe...ople suffering from homelessness.
