Admirable national swimmer of Singapore Mr Ang Peng Siong and his late father who spent alot of effort in training good quality swimmers in the country. Their decades of effort are commendable and loc...al authority should not tear down the swim club for development of condominiums. Hope new development could share the large piece of land with existing infrastructures at Farrer Park to keep a colourful and vibrant sports community comprising of foreigners and locals. APSC is one of the best place in the city fringe to be developed into Sports Centre of Active SG and promote Active Health and SG Cares to all age groups.

WHY WE NEED APSC AND KEEP THE POOL IN FARRER PARK?
Water is the best form for therapy in addition to swim. It helps in recovery training for all age groups and sportsmen who are recovering from injury. Water sports and swim are of the best way to destress and recharge, it also helps to reduce the future number of drowning cases in Singapore if people learn the correct swim skills. Most importantly to identify and brew the next few national swimmers like APS and Schooling.
