We'd say Ed dancing at the #ASEEAnnual was worth the price of admission alone.

Always great music at #ASEEAnnual

If you've been to the Azores in September (haven't we all?), you know what a lovely time of year it is to be there. So come to our Global Colloquium, hosted in conjunction with the SEFI annual conference. Sept 16-18.
Check out the short video on the event.
The #ASEEAnnual conference International Forum is on Wednesday this year, the conference's last day. There is a special registration rate of $150 for those already registered for the ASEE Annual Conference. This short video tells you more
Where are they now? Five years ago ASEE members talked about how ASEE gives them great leadership opportunities. Of those featured....
Bev Watford is ASEE's incoming president.
Lisa Benson is the new editor of the Journal of Engineering Education, the world's leading scholarly journal on engineering education.
...Dave Munson is the new President of RIT.
Doug Tougaw was recently elected to the ASEE Board.
Amelito Enriquez is this year's National Outstanding Teacher.
ASEE provides great professional opportunities for our members!

The #ASEEAnnual social media contest is a fun way to win AMEX gift cards and learn about the host city.
Try the picture scavenger hunt, get ready for Columbus-themed trivia, and keep an eye out for ASEE President Louie Martin-Vega. Oh, and you can also try to win our steps challenge! (One ASEE staffer logged 33K steps one day in steamy New Orleans last year!)

#ASEEAnnual attendees will find Columbus delightful and surprising (does any other city have a Waffle House AND a Tim Horton's??).
Our 3-minute podcast with Prism Associate Editor Jenn Pocock details some of the highlights.
ASEE's Board of Directors on the 2018 White House budget request.
The ASEE Board of Directors encourages members of the 115th Congress to follow the praiseworthy precedent set with the FY 2017 Omnibus legislation and sustain adequate funding for our nation’s engineering and scientific research efforts.

ASEE will present our President's Award to the USC Viterbi School of Engineering at the University of Southern California at our #ASEEAnnual this June. Dean Yannis Yortsos will accept the award.
The award is presented in honor of efforts by Dean Yortsos and Viterbi to promote ASEE’s Deans Diversity Pledge, and Yortsos’ subsequent presentation to the White House, in August of 2015, of a signed pledge from nearly 150 deans (nearly 210 have signed as of this posting).

Our latest, 3-minute Prism Podcast features Jeffrey Steiger, a theater director who creates scenarios that hold a mirror up to academics. His recent production at ASEE's Engineering Deans Institute investigated faculty hiring, retention, and promotion.
