I always ask my clients where they heard abo...ut us and I often get feedback that it was through About Redlands. Debra has been a huge help to me. I am not very computer savvy so she has been very patient. It was smart for me to allow the professional to do what I am not good at! I also want to say that I have used about Redlands for my own personal use. It is the best place to go to know what is going on in Redlands. Gather at Oakmont Park and hike for 3.5 miles around the newly-restored Jacinto Loop Trail. (Photo above is of volunteers working to clear the trail earlier this year.)

This trail is on the eastern-most edge of the Herngt 'Aki' preserve, and has views of the east end of Live Oak Canyon, San Bernardino Peak, San Gorgonio Peak, and San Jacinto Peak. It traverses the land donated to the city by two owners, including Larry Jacinto.

This hike will take participants to a beautiful ...area not otherwise accessible. Participants will see plentiful examples of native vegetation, and will enjoy a feeling of being in a somewhat remote area.

Be prepared to hike briskly for at least an hour.

Wear long pants, sun protection, good shoes and bring your water bottle.
