Can't wait for another fly in the drifter. 2 weeks ago I did a double lesson. Have another 4 he double lesson on Saturday. Fingers crossed for some good weather. :)

Took the boat down to see one of my biggest fans. 87 and 86year olds Don and Ethyl May Venn and their family we're excited to see the boat and here stories from the high seas. Thanks for your support and look forward to catching up again soon.

4th lesson at flying yesterday. Seems that when there are clouds around it's calmer in the skies. :)
Learnt to climb so plenty of ups and downs. Really loving this flying in the drifter. :)

Just over a year ago I never knew how important this man would be to my successful crossing of the Atlantic. Just met him on Friday. The weather man Mike Perry sent me accurate information which helped me make important decisions on my route across the pond. Thanks for your help Mike. Great to finally meet you mate. :)

After trying the walk I could see a smile from ear to ear on Nathan Handleys face. He just stayed there and kept going. Great to see. :)

I made some parallel bars for my mate Nathan Handley so he could practice walking at home everyday. His efforts are amazing and inspirational. Go Nathan!! You Gotta Wanna! And we all know you have what it takes mate. :)

Here is a short video of my first fly. We fly out to Bribie Island then back around to the highway. Christopher catches me in a much faster plane and just loves that. Then a nice smooth touchdown to bring it home. :)

Christopher took his 1st flight in a Jabiru with Tony from Caboolture Recreational Aviation. In just 2 years he can start to train for his Pilots License and get it before he starts his learn to drive a car. Pilot said he did well and took control of the aircraft. :)

Woohoo. First flying lesson under wraps. Awesome in the Drifter Aircraft. I have a lot to learn but manage to fly it around Bribie Island and followed the highway for a bit. Just learning the controls. More footage to come from the GoPro. :))
