So much fun getting to know some of our local Affirm customers at the Betabrand storefront last night. Thanks to all who came out!

There's a reason for this really low rating. I'm none too pleased with this company.

I tried to sign up for an account just as way to buy a relatively low pric...ed item to build up some credit, and I attempted this for an iPad on Gazelle as a start. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, they couldn't seem to "find my identity" after providing legitimate information.
They've basically shut me out from using the service indefinitely. I tried contacting their customer service to see if this could be corrected, and got the same exact response.

I get that this is a startup company attracting some attention and that there will be some hiccups along the way, but not working with your customers who'd like to use your service is a very big mistake. I've seen this company mentioned on ZZPerformance and figured I'd give it a go, but after my experience you've clearly angered me and am not happy.

If the rating system allowed for negative numbers then I'd give the largest amount available. Unbelievable!

I had a previous loan with Affirm when I purchased my MacBook from Gazelle and financed it with them. They charged my 30% APR with that loan. While this was a a...n extremely high interest rate I figured since I was first time customer that was probably the reason why. Today, I got on Gazelle looking at possibly purchasing an iPhone 7 Plus and financing with Affirm again. I get to check out and I'm reviewing their terms of this loan and they want to charge me 25% interest. Really? I made every payment on time previously and even paid off the loan early, so excuse me for thinking that I deserve a lower interest rate. I'll save up for the phone and pay in full when I order it. Thanks, but no thanks Affirm. See More

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. I've been dealing with their mistake for over a month now. They processed my payment improperly and have now caus...ed me to be paying double for a one time purchase. Now, instead of apologizing and doing the proper thing of reimbursing me for the charges they have caused me, they want to shrug it off and act like it's no big deal. No one should have to take the actions I have to get their money back when it was the company's fault. I am ashamed to have worked with you. See More

They are good until you need to ask customer service something. Their customer service is garbage. They don't even answer your questions. I've had and paid seve...ral loans with them and have never been late. Got denied for a relatively insignificant amount and asked them a question. Instead of answering they just kept telling me that they can reverse it. All I was asking about was the overall amount you can have with them. See More

I desperately needed a new bed, as mine was causing me so much pain! I was thrown from a horse years back and have had multiple procedures on my back to try to ...alleviate some of the pain - from injections in the epidural layer to fusions. Nothing worked for long. My pain management doctor asked about my mattress, saying that he thought one of the new memory foam ones would help give the suppory I needed, but not put pressure on my hips or shoulders (that I also have problems with). After 3 months of research, I found what I thought would be perfect for me - a GhostBed - but because of the holidays, thought I should just hold off. I noticed the Affirm financing offer then and figured "let's see what they offer, if it's a ripoff rate I'll just wait". Well, got approved instantly for my new king size GhostBed and pillows! The payments were just $84 a month for a year, no crazy interest rates or hidden fees, so I coyld easily manage that amount into my budget! I have had my GhostBed for almost 3 months now, and for the very first time in 12 years - I am sleeping without waking up stiff and in pain. In fact, my doctor is now cutting back on the pain meds I have been on for far too long now (YAAAY!) and she is looking into getting herself the same bed! Lol!

Since the process was so fast and easy, the payments and terms pretty straightforward and honest, and it helped me get the bed I needed without spending more time in pain - I have recommended both the bed and Affirm's financing to everyone! My sister, daughter, niece, and best friend are all ordering their beds and using Affirm financing to do so!

I also like the added security of getting a new sign-in pin texted to me each time I log on. It annoys the hubby a bit because he has to bug me for it if he's paying the bills, but I would rather annoy him for a minute than make it easy for someone else to have easy access to my account!

So, thank you Affirm for making it quick, easy, and painless (literally now! Lol!) to get my new bed. I love being able to finally get some sleep and wake up feeling refreshed instead of stiff and in tons of pain! It has made such a huge and unexpected improvement in my quality of life, and I am sure my family appreciates the happier, more active, less grumpy me! #myaffirmstorycontest

Five fine Swiss Made watches and counting! Interest has always been 30% for me. I compensate by purchasing lower priced Swiss Made watches that sold for Thousands when they first came out and are now selling brand new for hundreds and pay off my loans as fast as I can.

Worst customer service ever! Trying to get money credited from Wayfair that they agreed to do but, can't due to a 120 window. Wayfair and Affirm are crooks! ...This service is awful! Spoke with Joseph in Affirm and had the worst customer service ever! And spoke with Jared with Wayfair! Both are horrible and I can't believe I am the one being shafted! CROOKS! Kept offering me a 10% coupon for future purchases. Are you for real? And AFFIRM kept stating good god! WORST ever! See More

I booked a vacation on Expedia, Affirm took my downpayment and processed my loan. Somehow, expedia was not able to process my booking. Now I have no vacation an...d am stuck with a loan. There's no phone for customer service to resolve this ASAP. Meanwhile, I am possibly missing out on booking flights to a very popular destination and will have to hope there are still plane tickets or find different flights with stops or more expensive ones. Not pleased with my situation. See More

We love Affirm! So simple to make payments! It was nice to be able to get a new tv Stand and not have to go through a rent-to-own place. This time of year (Nove...mber-January) is hard enough... but Affirm made it easy for us to buy something for ourselves without worrying about paying a large amount at once. This has been the most complicated & frustrating process I have ever experienced with customer service. I have been calling for 3 days now trying to understand ...my order status with an affiliated company, gazelle. The item I purchased was financed through affirm. I have been transferred to multiple people, none of which have any answers for me. They have been "reaching out" to the merchant for 2 days now & have failed to produce any answers. A "refund" was issued to me, 5 days ago, yet I have failed to see my account reflect that. I was really hopeful about this company as I don't use credit cards, as so many millennials have decided to do. I am so disappointed in the quality of service & also the sense of urgency, or lack there of rather, that this company seems to have in regards to a confused & upset customer. Lesson learned. Trust the tried & true. See More

Super disappointed in this company. All in all after very few options with a loan that was used I was disappointed in the structure of the loan. No down payment... options available they make you borrow whatever you qualify for. So I called in canceled the account and restructured my cart to match my wants and needs. The first account they had taken 500 dollars from me for my down payment which was not what I wanted. I wanted to use more. So the next one i just split my order into two orders and payed an extra 2000 for some stuff. The 500 dollars I was told would be debited back to my account in 4-5 business days. 10 days later I attempted to get in touch with them but they would not give me an answer as to where or what happened to my money. They came to the conclusion that I was not allowed to get any information about the account because it was under my Fiance's name AFTER she had called multiple times to let them know that I was allowed to talk to them!! If I didnt work 80-90 hours a week I wouldnt be so pissed but time is limited. Also when I questioned them about their policies in the fine print they run your credit every 6 months. If you can avoid this company do so. I will be contacting my lawyer to take them to small claims court for the bills that I planned to use that money for as well as the money. Do yourself a favor STEER CLEAR OF AFFIRM. I'll also be contacting the BBB See More

Nothing but good things to say about Affirm. I'm a small business owner and they helped me get the things I needed to be a professional and provide a quality se...rvice for my clients. I'm on my second loan, and I'm sure I'll be back. More retail companies should use Affirm as a payment option for their customers. See More

Cart 1 has items valued at $4100, willing to finance $2500 of it.
Cart 2 has items valued at $2200, for some reason cannot finance it.

Yes, same store and info, just different items in the cart, which for some reason affects the approval outcomes.

Seriously, you can't approve a very low amount for a loan. Don't waste your time with this gimmick and I have a really decent credit rating.

They have to have the slowest and poorest payment system. while processing one payment, you can't make a payment on their website. I will not be using affirm again.
