Hey everyone it's representative, Carlos guillermo Smith, I'm just standing in solidarity with you and sending a message of positivity on your way tomorrow. Go to commemorate and remember one year after hurricane muddy the virgin islands, the federal government's response has been totally unacceptable and a year later we know that the needs of the Puerto rican community, both on the island and for those of us who are here in Florida, are absolutely critical. We have to do more to support them. We need more affordable housing programs. We need to build Simply structure in the island of Puerto Rico, one year later, to make sure that is disaster. Like this can happen again. I'm sorry that I can't make it to your protest in your event today, but I stand with you in solidarity and remembering those three thousand Puerto rican lives that were taken after the storm as we continue to demand accountability.
