Restoration of funding for these programs will have a ripple effect what dollars they reinvested on main Street for Thank you so much members are there any questions thank % yes come on back it some say it's wonderful having you here thank you for advocating for our main streets and fluke districts one of the best parts of each supporting something is that we have such cool districts across across our region and so really excited to I'm here lifting up the voices of our small businesses on the arts funding in Michigan and um I I really hope that procession we can do some town halls in the district and just bring that local government you know in the neighborhood so we're doing that with you thank you The other comments or questions seeing none thank you Mr are you your own it Hey thank you everybody Alex Barry of larger problems up for progress and I'm here to talk about the one issue that everybody has uh knows and struggles with this portable housing um as you all know for years the staff gap in trust fund has been rated consistently billions of billions of dollars have been taken out it's no longer enough to fully fund the sandusky I contrast on which we should do it for this year but if we need to start paying back some of the billions of dollars that I can take it away from the gap over the past few years every single year since the recession ended um The cost of living across the world is going up in our state budget and turn his going up now to where it's nearly 90 billion dollars and despite this growth the affordable housing trust funds continue to be rated we need to go back and restore those uh funds we also need to look at the reasons beyond affordable housing that people are struggling every day wages are the lowest in the country in Central Florida healthcare costs continue to rise and The lack of solutions coming out of tallahassee frankly over the past eight years this is not due to you cuz you are um are mostly new and y'all are mostly excellent advocates for your communities but the lack of leadership has been profound up there in solving in a comprehensive way the struggles of Middle and lower class people here in Florida so I ask you don't just put a bandaid on the issue fully funded affordable housing trust fund it's the right thing to do but it's not enough to look across the board think about All the reasons that people are struggling and do your best to make sure that we can move forward um and help these people in the session Thank you so much mister burial limbs are there any question from Seeing none thank you so much um up next attorney dillon sure Thank you madam chair and where's the delegation my name is Richard ellen graham President
