I wouldn’t give them any stars if that had been a choice! 22 degrees outside a kids event wouldn’t open doors and when they did a hundred people I. The little rotunda making the outside doors stay wid...e open with 22 degree weather! Babies and little children hanging in this weather! Then the bag check right inside the doors! This could easily have been fixed! David Angeles assistant director of events cared not that we were standing in the cold did not care what I had to say or how I felt wouldn’t listen! Service has not ever been this horrible at this center! See More

I work in 40 plus venues a year and this place was 1st class. The A/V staff was top notch. Zach was one of the best I've worked with in the past 5 years. Kai was also great to work with. The whole ...technical crew at this awesome facility were super knowledgeable and pleasure to work with. The facility was very clean and the friendliest staff ever to be around. Keep up the great work @[89893554201:Allen Event Center]!! See More

They are so disorganized and lack any customer service. They are cutting every penny they can and selling parking space to make money.

This is a great concert venue and I have seen several acts through the years. I also enjoy the free parking.

I attended The 1975 show and it was amazing. The venue offers free parking. Which is great. My only problem was when we were in line one of the security guys gave is a lecture, about the was we should... behave and how they were not their to babysit us, etc. Even got mad when a lady who I'm guessing was their with her daughter didn't look at him. Even said how he could already tell she was one of those people. To me tht was very rude. Since the night before I had attended a concert and the security their was by the same company and they didn't treat us like that. In the 10 years I have been attending concerts I had never been given a lecture. That is what I keeps me from giving it a 5 star review. See More

My daughter graduated last night at this center. How it went, I would not know! While trying to park my vehicle, I let my oldest out at the front door cause I had this horrible feeling that something ...was gonna happen. I was correct. My husband and I get to the main entrance and they have shut the doors. My daughter was on the inside saying they weren't letting anymore people in. There was about 100+ people outside, that had saved seats from the other half of the family.
If they would've had better parking to accommodate the families of the graduates plus the other random people enjoying a night out, would've been more pleasant. Next time, I won't waste 2 hours to get there and I wasn't even able to see her walk the stage. Extremely disappointed.

Terrible venue along with their admin/staff. Highly unprofessional security who was inappropriate and seemed to be too interested in the under aged girls. However the over night security were so calm ...and committed. This venue was clean and maintained however the janitorial staff do more than those who sit at a desk. Rebecca in the box office was unhelpful and uninterested in my dilemma, only being controlled by a fan club herself. Will never spend my money here again and the word will/has been passed around. It's nice (looks new?) and the bathrooms are clean! I wanted a cup of ice water. Well, they can't just give out the cups, so I bought a large fountain drink, filled with ice, only about 1/2 full of ...soda, and a bottle of water. The next day, they allowed me to bring my "Allen Event Center" plastic cup back in with me, empty of course, so that all I had to buy was the bottle of water. Yes, they even filled the cup with ice for me. :) The seats could use some cleaning - several had melted chocolate ground into the material. All in all, it's pretty nice. See More

Make sure you get there early enough to pass through security. There are 2 lines at the front entrance only. Exiting is much better and leaving the parking garage (free of charge) is quick. The foo...d is expensive, but there is one stand with Carmel apples and frozen chocolate bananas that are worth it! The seats are small with no passing room, but just about every seat is close to the action! See More

Seems like a great venue. It was our first time there and we had seats in section 111. Most seats are permanent, but these are retractable seats (like in school) and every time anyone (even a child) w...alked up or down the stairs, the entire section shook! The entire time we were there I just knew this was going to be the next tragedy in the news! "Bleachers break during hockey game!" It was awful! Other than that and the overpriced water, it was in a great location and a nice little arena! We ate at dodies and the walked over. So fun. See More

Attended the 1975 concert. Everything was great! Food and drink choices were ample(typical venue prices, so don't expect anything else). Getting through security wasn't an issue for us. Parking is FRE...E!!! Such a bonus! At AA center and ATT stadium I only purchase seats that come with parking included. So nice it's not an issue at this venue. The only reason I'm giving a 4star instead of 5 is because the acoustics weren't great. But that is probably not to be helped at this point. See More

Loved the event center itself. Small enough to be intimate for a concert yet big enough to not feel like packed sardines. The parking garage is a joke. Nowhere to park. Most of the top floor is reserv...ed for the hotel. I live in mckinney and it took me 40 min to get home after. Should have been 10 min max. See More

The staff are rude and not at all helpful, the venue also does not honor ticketmasters guidelines as to what you're entitled to when you buy your ticket, In my experience the venue takes those things ...away from you and demands more money for something that should be free. See More

The Event we attended was a gift from KLTY, my radio Station who gave me (4) vouchers that I won last Sunday in my grandson's 1st Birthday! I picked them up @!KLTY in Irving. And, I called on Monday t...o inquire about exchanging for tickets and I was told to exchange them for tickets when I arrived!

The Disney on Ice was amazing and my Grandson, Kyle celebrated his 1st BD with his both his Mommy & older brother, AJ! We had a great time; but, I needed ADA seating and they were sold out! I had called in the Monday prior to our event to ask if I needed to exchange the vouchers or if seats would be available and I was told no - it would not be a 'sold out' venue. And, she knew I wanted the last show on Sunday @ 4 pm. She suggested we get there 3o minutes before the event to exchange them.

We did and there were no ADA seats available and no seats, sitting together. So, our foursome split two and two in L & P in 103 with single seats and each of us holding a child! This information was incorrect not very good information. And, there should be more ADA seats available if that is all you have to seats available for those who need them! And, the information line should give correct information to those who take the time to call ahead and ask!!

That people at the gate were awful! I have not encountered a crew like that EVER! The short gray haired guy was the rudest I have ever seen. He could have say "I'm sorry but you can't bring that drin...k in". But no it was " hey! You can't bring that in here" real hateful and over and over as he was literally pushing us out the door. THEN one of the asshole black lady went through my wife's purse like she was just being an asshole. She searched every little pocket. Made her pull everything out of it as she went through it. We were there for the NCWA national wrestling championship. There were some of them very nice very nice. I don't know if it was a coincidence but the nice ones were the older white ladys.
This experience at the gate really soured our experience. It wasn't just us. Those 2 or 3 were this way to all of our party.

The event center itself is awesome. The parking garage is a joke however. As someone that is temporarily handicapped I find it appalling that there are only four, yes I said four, handicap parking spo...ts in the whole garage. Furthermore it's pathetic that two, yes I said two, elevators were broken. Forcing me to walk down the stairs. And then back up them, which happens to be the hard part. See More

The crew and operations are second to none. I've been to several events from hockey to concerts and every time I've come away with a very good experience. The people genuinely care that you have a goo...d time. I hope that Allen Event Center will add more concerts to it's calendar. It's much more enjoyable that going all the way into Dallas. See More

My issue was the rude vendor selling the lights and the 30 minute wait to get out of the congested parking garage....They have police patrolling the pedestrians but it's needed as well to control the ...flow of one was considerate of others, it was all about me...I sat there patiently waiting until just about everyone was gone See More

Great atmosphere. A lot of choices for food. With the oval shape there isn't a bad seat in the Arena. The Allen American Fans went out of their way to help my son and I with what ever we wanted or ne...eded. The hockey game was very entertaining and exciting. We stayed in the Marriott Hotel which was right next to the arena, just a few steps away.I would love to go there again. See More

The venue itself is perfect for the location it is in. The Allen Americans staff puts on a great hockey product and I will continue to patronize them. The Texas Revolution, however, left me wanting. T...heir presentation was ok and the football was entertaining for what it was, but their employees were openly and loudly taunting the opposition. Obviously I work in sports, and root for my teams, but there is a level of professionalism that should be expected from team employees. That is not the type of thing I'd tolerate from an employee and ruined any chance that Id have purchased anything to support the organization again. See More
