The European Allstars to compete at the KCBS International BBQ Contest, Vuur en Vlees - Deurne, The Netherlands
“We are really looking forward to meet up once again in Deurne”, says the team captain, Dirk van Griensven. He adds, 'we had such a grrat time last year!'The Allstars will be competing this weekend at the KCBS competition, which is appropriately called, Fire and Meat....
Hans Petter says, “This competition I'm going to do pulled pork instead of briskèt and is excited about the new rub he has put together. The team will again be using hardware from Yoder.
Hans Petter and Steve will be flying out to Dirks place today for his weekly garden bbq, joined by Patrick and the team will meet up with Menno on site at the competition.

The Allstars are to compete at Beer,Fries & BBQ IV - KCBS barbecue competition in Hasselt, Belgium.
"I think we're going to have a good time", sais the captain Dirk van Griensven, "this is our firs competition after w.e.s.t." explaining that he is exited and looking forward to competing. He adds, with a smile, "barbecue is evolving and so is the team"....
This popular competition is in its 4th edition and has become quite popular in the KCBS community in Europe. Beer, Fries & BBQ is an annual BBQ event organised by De Filous BBQ team.
Steve sais,"This is my first time at this cool competition" and he will be meeting up with Dirk later this evening before driving out to Hasselt. Menno and Patrick have their work duties and won't be able to attend, and Hans Petter will be cheering for the team from London.

The European Allstars to compete at the W.E.S.T. KCBS BBQ Contest, South Tyrol, Italy
“What a cool way get the 2017 season started! ..or should that be cold?”, says an excited Steve Westerby when asked about the team’s first competition for this year....
The Allstars will be competing this weekend at the KCBS competition, which is most appropriately called W.E.S.T (Winter Extreme South Tyrol). The competition is ideally situated in the tops of the amazing Italian alps.
We have been honing our recipes this winter and feel ready do make some great barbecue”, sais Dirk van Griensven, captain of The European Allstar Barbecue team, and adds, “The Norwegians have done workshops this winter and are trained for the cold, while the Dutch guys worked on recipes and flavors”.
The whole team looks forward to starting the season looking forward to meeting all of our barbecue friends. Dirk, Hans, Menno and Steve will be flying in on Friday, Patrick is unfortunately doing his duties at work.

The Allstars had a great time competing at the Farm Meat “De Vaartse Hoeve” KCBS barbecue competition in Vaartsehoeve, The Netherlands.
"I'm so happy for the 2nd place in ribs", said Dirk van Griensven, the team captain. The ribs were sourced from pure line breed of Duroc pigs, the quality being developed by Topigs Norsvin.
The team wants to thank the event organizers for arranging a great event at a great venue, the KCBS and all the helpful volunteers....
The Allstars are at this moment at the Farm Meat “De Vaartse Hoeve” KCBS barbecue competition in Vaartsehoeve, The Netherlands.
"We are a bit nervous but excited", sais the captain Dirk van Griensven, "this is our last competition for the season" explaining that he really wants the team to perform....
The competition is organized by a family of farmers producing quality duroc pigs. Steve adds,"This is a cool competition and a venue that makes me feel at home". The arena is appropriately decorated with a farm theme and a lot of stuff to do for both young and not so young. There are even pens with duroc piglets and calves.
Menno joined the rest of the guys driving in with his signature Yoder gear and the team feels ready to do their best at this competition.

The Allstars are on their way to The Hague, in the Netherlands, to compete at the Regahfest kcbs bbq competition.
"We are excited", said Menno, "We will be using a brand new bbq trailer", which is a purposely built competition set-up supplied by @yoderbbq...
"We really wanted to participate at Regahfest and now it's happening", explained Dirk, as the competition was originally fully booked and the team was wait-listed.
Steve is on his way from Oslo and Dirk will be arriving later this evening, as he will be doing his duties as judge at another bbq competition at Zwolle.

The European Allstars to compete at the KCBS International BBQ Contest, Oslofjord Barbecue Challenge 2016 - Oslo, Norway.
“Finally, a KCBS competition in Norway”, says an excited Hans Petter Rasmussen when asked about what it’s like to attend this competition. He adds, “Steve and me have been competing for 10 years and now we get to do the thing we love on home turf”
The Allstars will be competing this weekend at the KCBS competition, which is called the Oslofjor...d Barbecue Challenge. The competition is ideally situated by the Oslo-fjord close to downtown Oslo but it will still give all the teams a taste of Norwegian nature and culture.
This competition is organized by Dag from the NBBQF and is a part of the Nordic barbecue alliance, which will give teams more winning chances if competing at both the Swedish and Norwegian competitions. The Allstars were in Swedan last week and will, of course, be present in Norway.
Steve says, “I’m especially looking forward to meeting the local teams”, and explains that it is difficult to keep in touch due to the vast distances in Norway.
This is Menno’s first time competing in Norway and he will be flying in from The Netherlands this afternoon. The boys are excited to compete at the Oslofjord Barbecue Challenge 2016.
The Allstars had a great time competing at the Smoke in The North barbecue competition in Gothenburg, Sweden.
"I'm thrilled about a 2nd place in chicken", said Dirk van Griensven, the team captain, "but we did less than expected on the other meats". The team did well with the ancillary turn in, which was called bacon awesomeness. Menno explained that there were some hick-ups during execution but the team pulled together and created a super turn in.
'Rain! Again?' sighed Hans... Petter, just before the power got waterlogged and cut out, but he smiled and said "we know what to do when it's raining, it rains every time we compete'.
The Allstars got a call and a walk and send congratulations to Butrub.com for GC and to all others who got a walk or call.

The Allstars will be competing this weekend at the KCBS competition, which is appropriately called, Smoke in the North. This year it is organized as a part of the Nordic barbecue alliance, which will give teams more winning chan...ces if competing at both the Swedish and Norwegian competitions. The Allstars will, of course, be present at both.
Steve says, “This competition is going to be especially exciting because of or past merits". The team got a GC at this competition a couple of years ago.
Dirk, Menno and Patrick are flying in from The Netherlands and Hans Petter and Steve will be driving down from Norway. The boys are really looking forward to this one and to meeting up with the rest of the teams.

The Allstars captain, Dirk van Griensven, did a guest appearance with the guys from back yard barbecue Netherlands.
'I always love to barbecue', says Dirk and explains that, while having fun, he also used the this experience to test out a few ideas.
There were several calls and walks for them....

The Allstars were happy to compete at the fire and meat competition in Deurne the Netherlands.
"I really had a fantastic time", said Patrick Alkema, the newest team member. Menno, who was cooking with the Allstars for the first time explains that he is already looking forward to the next competition.
Dirk van Griensven was happy with the level of integration and added, "execution of all the turn inn's went smoothly". Steve and Hans Petter were happy with the performance of ...the Yoder smokers, having used them for their first time at this competition.
The Allstars got 2 calls in pork and chicken and congratulate Vliegende hollander and Longhorn for RGC and GC.
